Chapter 12 - Rewarded

I woke up feeling refreshed. Recalling the events of yesterday had gotten me feeling tireless.

Princess Tia now knows that Rude was here and judging by how she acted she was extremely possessive/obsessive over Rude.

This means that there is a chance that she may come back and try to kidnap him once more.

Touching one of my cheeks I then remembered something embarrassing.

Rude had given me a small, harmless kiss on the cheek. It was obviously just a trick but I really wondered if Rude actually wanted it to happen since he was smiling afterwards.

I blushed feeling my heart throb over such thoughts. No! He's my servant and employee. I couldn't and would absolutely not take advantage of him.

Calming myself down I nonchalantly walked down the stairs and heard the bell ring. Another customer had come.

In front of the door a boy in a brown coat. He wore a nervous look and was fiddling around with his short ash blonde hair.

I teleported instantly right in front of him causing him to stumble backwards in surprise.

But he caught himself before he could fall down. His balance was undeniably steady.

He heaved in relief feeling motivated now that I was here. "Excuse me, I believe that this shop can grant wishes right?"

In a soft and gentle tone the boy spoke quietly, it was almost so quiet that a normal human being could barely register it.

But I wasn't normal and my senses were enhanced due to some modifications I added into my body.

"Yes that's right." I replied in a monotone voice feeling bored since granting wishes was too easy since I was basically an Ex-God/Genie/Magical Human.

"Then.... Then can you help me make friends!" I nodded out of reflex and I short circuited for a while after.

I then began inspecting him closely and wore my bracelet. Transforming into sheep form I began to inspect him closely.

I circled around him and got quite close to his face. Taking off the bracelet a puff of pink smoke appeared and I had already reverted back into my human form.

"So you want friends?" I had deduced that he may have had a rough childhood and was always lonely; due to his loneliness he had no idea how to make friends and was excluded by every children in the city.

While I say that I deduced it my conjecture was actually confirmed by Walter's Reticent Communication.

My guess was mostly correct however he did not have a rough childhood and was very well off.

He was just socially awkward. "Very well come with me." I agreed to his request not because I felt sorry for him but for the sake of experimentation.

I realised that I can potentially create anything I wish for but I had no idea if I could create life.

So far I had created an android that stimulated life but was actually not so I wondered how far I could go with this?

Leading him down the basement I passed by a door with a yellow sign with a black lightning symbol.

It was the main generator. I passed by more rooms with signs indicating what they were for, in the dark corridor I saw my symbol.

The red sign had a hexagonal shape and in the middle was my emblem in black. A complex multiple bit cube shape.

Opening the door I entered a stone room with nothing but statues. They were arranged into a circle and held different tools. Instruments such as harps, flutes and violins.

Among the tools there were weapons of all kinds including a man catcher. They were made of white marble courtesy of my abilities.

Using my ice magic to create a seat for the boy I began to speak. "So what's your name?"

"Oh, I'm Heath, Heath Pazel." I smiled and stared towards him. "What I am about to do is possibly something that will sow discord if any information of it was out so I would rather have you be silent about it."

Putting my index finger on my mouth I gestured for him to stay quiet about this event. He gulped and began to nod.

I smiled, it was now time to create a powerful entity. "Sever the bonds beyond the boundaries of life. Break through the principles of death and bring forth great strife; open the gateway to heaven and earth. Let the stars align and witness this birth."

A compressed orb of light began moulding into a shape to that of one I desired. Making hand seals I began to play around with it before creating a still body.

The lifeless vessel laid down as a cloth blanketed him keeping him warm. I faced Heath and put my palm against his chest.

I started to pull on something causing a thread of his soul to pop out. Heath bellowed in pain.

A deep chill left his heart empty and confused, yet he was still able to keep his consciousness.

He had a very strong mental resilience to be able to keep himself from fainting. Focusing on the thread I inched it towards the vessel's glabella pushing it in.

The body jolted and began to open its eyes. Golden flecks brightened his jewel like eyes. His skin a perfect tan that accentuated his toned muscles.

He had a well built figure and broad shoulders making him seem like a reliable person. His chiseled features emanated a strange feeling causing him to look ethereal.

He was so handsome that he would have been either sculpted from clay or was a God. But he was neither, he was an entity of the imagination to be specific my imagination.

Due to him being created from my thought power I could control him however I liked but since I created him as a friend to Heath I'll sever the bond between me and him.

"From now on you shall be named Henry Zaniest." He nodded, I seemed to had forgotten to grant him speech.

He had knowledge but had no ability to interact with others. I muttered a few words and began chanting.

"Words unspoken, a speech of silence. My wish for you to develop your character. I grant you freedom and complete compliance. Now go forth and guide your new friend; Progenitor."

Light encapsulated his body forming a temporary cocoon. He began to break out and appeared to be clothed in a bespoke suit.

He was even more cooler than before, his slick black hair was neatly combed and gave off a slightly glossy shine.

I turned to Heath who was entranced by his handsomeness and awoke him. "This man is an artificial spirit I created so make a contract with him."

Heath was surprised to hear that term. A spirit was a being with the ability to grant its master far stronger magic than an ordinary human could ever have.

There were many types of spirits but most interacted with humans through contracts. "Even if he is an artificial spirit what kind of spirit is he?"

Heath was worried about what kind of spirit he was due to the different ranking of spirits.

"I am a mid tier spirit with no specific attribute. I am however capable of casting curses." Henry spoke out loud revealing what he truly was.

"You don't have an attribute? We should possibly change that. In addition we may need to create a new spirit system." The two men were confused. They had no idea what I was talking about.

Holding out my hand I formed a blank rectangular card. Throwing it up into the air I shouted. "Dimension Gate."

A high pitched sound blasted and the card exploded forming a black hole that distorted space. A vortex pulled us into the hole leaving us to vanish in place.

I then proceeded to create a letter to my employees and sent it through a portal. Clicking my fingers two Devil Fruits appeared in my hands as well as a key to the library.

Throwing it out of the hole it disappeared. I sent it to Lydia who should be with Beltram right about now. It was time to reward them for their hard work.

Since Walter and Rude already had a Grimoire and Devil Fruit I gifted them something else.

....

"To Lydia the Cube-Cube Fruit for Beltram is underneath the cupboard near the counter and the Spike-Spike Fruit for you is underneath your bed."

Lydia read the letter attentively and found out that her boss was paying her not with money, but with precious merchandise.

She smiled and ran hurriedly to her room. It was finally 'payday.'
