So Gixoh and I went in with full force, showing him all my skill before he taught me anything.
"So what do you think?"
[Temti]
"Okay so you look like you'll definitely be able to learn those skills I spoke of. The one you wanted to learn first is called Dark Spid, it's a skill that allows you to summon a tiny spider from your shadow. It will then make its way towards an enemy infecting and slowly draining their essence."
[Gixoh]
After a bit of training from Gixoh I started to get the hang of the Dark Spid skill, and moved forward to defeating the Friwigs. The Spid it summoned was pretty cool, it was like another small little companion to have next to me. That allowed me to be able to move away from the battle grounds more than anything. It fought on its own, and after a few tries I was able to summon three of them. Eventually I ran into the Giant Friwigs that Gixoh warned me about.
"What do we do about that?"
[Twilight]
"I'm not sure, the other skill I wanted to teach you might be able to help out much better. It's called Sadoria, let me teach you really quick. The way this skill works is you will need to channel your shadow and create a pool of darkness. Once that pool has been created you will drop the weapon of your choosing into it. I have a somewhat similar skill except I'm using fire. Let me show you how it's done."
[Gixoh]
Gixoh began to activate his skill himself, creating a small pool of fire on the ground. As the blaze began to develop he dropped his Longsword into the pool. After a few seconds it returned from its depths with a red glow to it. He took a few swings of his sword attacking some foliage and scorching the earth around him. He then told me to practice the same thing. He said I had to concentrate on a single spot, think about my element appearing in front of me as a pool. Since my element was darkness I began imagining a shadow, the pool I created was a small one. When I dropped my dagger into it, it took awhile for it to return, when it did I received this dark black weapon. As I began to practice with it I realized that I was able to create this weird after shadow, I noticed it would make an extra slash behind it. So it looked like I had a double slash.
"Okay It looks like you have gotten used to using that skill. If you're ready let's go ahead and take on that Giant Friwig."
[Gixoh]
We rushed into battle, Gixoh made the first move, Taking his longsword and slashing the right left of the Friwig to begin with. Then I made my way to the right arm of the Friwig slashing it clean through. The Friwig shot its tongue at me hitting its mark once it landed and it left this strange scar. I ignored it. Gixoh was still going through the slashing of the legs of the Friwig. As I made my approach to him this strange burning sensation started to come over me. I ignored it, Gixoh made a gesture that he wanted me to come toward him. When I made my way to him, he dropped down, allowing me to leap off his back. Rising into the air I activated the Dark Spid skill and then I activated Sadoria. My spids attacked first, poisoning both the left and right eye of the Friwig. I landed right on top of the head of the Friwig, slashing repeatedly leaving a dark aura around the it's head. When I landed back on the ground the burning sensation I had took over.
"Ahh, what the fuck is that?"
[Twilight]
"It looks like you've been poisoned. Let me see if I have anything for it."
[Gixoh, rushing to Twilights aid]
Gixoh reached in his bag, pulling out this weird looking bottle. It was this weird white color, after making me drink it I began to feel a cooling sensation. Looking at my scar it slowly began to disappear.
"So, It looks like it worked. From the looks of it the scar you go from the Friwigs tongue made is gone. I believe you should be fine now."
[Gixoh, as he helps Twilight up]
"Thanks, so from the looks of it the Friwig is almost dead. It seems a little blind already due to the Dark Spid I sent it."
[Twilight]
"Yeah I think we just need to take out a bit more of its life."
[Gixoh]
We returned to the fight, it was an easy task to take the Friwig out at this point. Me and Gixoh accomplished a combo move destroying the rest of the Friwig, it tried to send its tongue flying. This time I was prepared to dodge it. I activated the skill side step. From there Gixoh activated a skill I wasn't sure about, it seemed to enhance more than just his weapon. His speed increased, he leaped into the air dropping his sword straight into the skull of the Friwig. With the dark aura I left and his fire it seemed to do a sufficient amount of damage. It didn't seem to kill it though, so I went ahead and reactivated Dark Spid, from there Gixoh began to drop down. His sword dragged from the tip of the Friwigs skull down to its mouth. Splitting not just its head but its tongue as well. My Spids made their way into the mouth of the Friwig. Poisoning from the inside out, Gixoh hadn't landed, so I made my way up to him and began to slash both sides of the Friwigs mouth. At this point we were both sure it was out of commission. It did something I had never seen another creature do before, which was disintegrating into nothing. Leaving behind these weird objects. Gixoh collected them, I didn't ask what they were though.
We made our way back to the campground, on the way I finally asked Gixoh exactly what he had picked up. He told me it was these weird crystals that were used in creating lightsponders and other tools.

"So it looks like you were able to get a lot of training in."
[Liam, as he approaches]
"Yeah, Gixoh showed me a few new skills, I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be able to keep up anymore."
[Twilight]
"If you say so. Anyway, it looks like everyone's ready and healed up. We plan on heading out in a few days. Remember we're heading to Gahralow which is located in Winthonia. Gixoh, make sure he's prepared for the weather."
[Liam, as he returns to his troop]
Gixoh spent the night informing me more about Winthonia & the great tree they called Gahralow. Apparently it's a dense forest, full of various wildlife. He said most aren't an issue when you encounter them other than these bee/fly like creatures they called Waix. He told me you normally don't see them near the surface but the further up Gahralow you go you can see them flying around. Their stings can be lethal, he warned, more than the Friwigs lick.

"So what did Gixoh tell you about the area?"
[Liam]
"Mostly about the creatures to watch out for and what the weather's like."
[Twilight]
"Yeah I figured, he wasn't around there during the invasion, I talked to a few of my men who were there at the time. They warned us to stay vigilant , apparently the tree is filled with quite a bit of Cult members."
[Liam]
So what, we just have to defeat them right?
[Twilight]
"Yeah but it won't be that simple, the tree is also made to be like a fortress as it holds a lot of our ancient secrets, minus those of the late king's personal collection."
[Liam]
"Yeah minus the few articles I saw at home from what I've heard all our history is held in that one place."
[Gixoh]
"So that means we have to be extra careful?"
[Temti]
"More than that, we have to watch out for traps and dead ends. It's been a while since I've been there, but I'm sure I'll be able to navigate it well."
