Chapter 5 - Search for the Young Miss 5

Adriana took Aria in her arms, and she brought her back inside the car. "Shh, it's all fine now. They won't be able to harm you ever again." She soothed the child and wiped her tears away with her thump.

"Sniff* M-miss are you Sniff* my mommy?" She asked sobbing. Adriana nodded her head, her heart to shattering pieces. "I'm your mother, and I will protect you from now on, okay?" Adriana comforted her.

"Then why did you abandon me? Did you like my brother more than me? Whaaaa," The child finally broke down into tears after holding it all in for so long. Adriana cried along with her.

"I never abandoned you, princess. I lost you. The bad people took you away from me. I won't ever let them seperate us again. I promise, sweetie. You won't be hurt ever again." Her voice was gentle, and she gave the little girl the warmest hug she has ever received in her life.

She felt the warmth this strange woman was giving her, and she could not help but believe that she is her mother.

Adriana who is not used to being gentle to others except James smiled. She quieted her until she calmed down. It was so heartbreaking for her. Knowing her daughter had been in the hands of a bad woman all her life. She should have done a better investigation.

After the little girl's tears finally stopped and she calmed down, Adriana patted her head. "You are so strong. I love that about you." She kissed her forehead and closed her eyes to calm down her anger.

"Miss, are you angry?" Aria asked her voice so low that it almost sounded like a whisper. "Hmm. You don't have to call me 'Miss' all the time. You must feel weird since we just met, I understand. You can call me 'Aunty' or maybe-"

"No, I will call you, mommy." The little girl interrupted, and Adriana grinned. "That's much better, but if you are uncomfortable, don't force yourself." She told her, and Aria shook her head. "Mommy, can I hug you again?" She asked. "You don't even have to ask," Adriana replied.

Aria hugged her tightly with her little arms, and she closed her eyes, letting her tears fall. She could already tell that this woman is her mother. Not just because of the similarities in their appearance but the warmth she felt when they hugged. Aria had never felt that warmth with any other person except that man that she met in the orphanage once.

The grandmother that had adopted her was mean and manipulated her to do many things. The granny only had her because of the money she got from the government. She doesn't care about her. She would always treat the older woman warmly in public, but she hated her deep inside. All she has ever seen in her life was mean people that loved to hurt her. She could never imagine that she would meet an angel today.

An angel had saved her. Sometimes her granny would send her back to the orphanage when she got fed up with her. Every time she would cry alone and hide her pain from everyone else. Seeing how safe and secure she felt in Adriana's arms, she knew this was her mother. She just knew it, and she was very confident about this feeling of hers.

She longed for parents for so long, and a mother finally appeared. Her eyes brightened. They were open wide with hope in them. "Mommy, does that mean I also have a father?" She asked with stars glowing in her eyes.

Adriana stiffened. 'Seriously.' She was disappointed that she asked for her father, and she did not want her daughter to asked about that man so early. Adriana did not have the heart to say anything.

"No, it's just me, you, and your brother," Adriana responded. She didn't want to mention more. Aria's smile disappeared, but she was understanding, and she did not ask any longer.

"Mommy, where will we go now?" She asked. She was wondering what would happen to the granny and her teacher. She also asked if she would ever return to her town. "I will take you to my home. We can get to know each other, and we will go to meet your brother," Adriana responded.

"I will also enroll you in another school. If you have some friends you want to meet from your older school, just tell me their names, and I'll arrange meeting times with them except that they will be in our home." Adriana continued. "With the way your teacher is and that woman, I don't feel comfortable having you elsewhere," Adriana explained.

"I don't have any friends...." Aria answered, lowering her head. Adriana pursed her lips. "Well, then can we be friends?" She asked.

"Yes." Aria smiled happily. "Okay, do you want some candy? I have plenty to spare." Adriana offered. "Oh, I don't like sweets, sorry...." She rejected shyly. "You don't have to say sorry to me. I don't like sweets either. I prefer spicy food." Adriana helped her take a seat inside the car properly.

"I love spicy food too!" Aria beamed. "Oh. When we get home, I can cook you some spicy food, yeah?" Adriana was excited just at the thought of it. "Yess, I would love to!"

The car door opened, and Ralf entered. Adriana glanced at him, and the nod he gave her told her that he had done what she asked. "Take us home." She told him. "Also, clear my schedule for the next three days." She ordered.

"Ma'am, I can clear it for today and tomorrow, but we must head back to Paris." He reminded her. Adriana sighed. "It's fine then."

She glanced at Aria, who was confused. "Mommy, are you rich?" She asked carefully. Adriana laughed. "Well, you can say so. I worked hard so that you and your brother can live a happy life. I will spoil you a lot so you can ask for anything you like." She told her.

Ralf smiled when he saw his boss so happy. He also sighed in relief. From now on, better days were to come. After so many years, the young master and his Madam would reunite with the young miss as a happy family of three. It truly warmed his heart, knowing he was there to witness it.

"Well, is it okay if I ask for a dress?" Aria asked. "Of course, just tell me what kind you like," Adriana replied. 'I would love to make her thousands of dresses.' She thought.

"I want one made by Justine. She's my idol! But if it's hard to get as long as it's blue, I'm fine with it!" She answered excitedly.

"Haha, no way. I will get you a thousand customized dresses from Justine I promise and of blue colors too." Adriana promised. "That's so cool!" Aria snuggled up in her arms with a bright smile on her face. She was so happy and emotionally exhausted that she fell asleep a few minutes later.

After accommodating her in her arms, Adriana sighed. "Order some blue materials. The best ones and send me some sapphires. A lot of blue. I need a lot of blue." Adriana ordered Ralf, and he nodded with a chuckle.
