Chapter 10 - I will send a bullet through their skulls!

Adriana didn't notice the paper until Bryan texted her that Noah had canceled the interview and that she could be present and hold the meeting. She had come to the door and noticed the piece of paper. At first, she thought it was trash, so she picked it up to throw it away, but then she realized it was Aria's handwriting.

Since she would always keep her drawings, Adriana thought it was also one of those drawings. When she read the letter, her heart dropped.

She immediately called Crysty.

"Where's my daughter?!" She asked and slammed the dressing room door behind her. "She went to the bathroom," Crysty replied in confusion. "And you let her go on her own? She's missing!" Adriana huffed and called someone to block the entrances of the building and not allow anybody to leave.

She headed towards the security camera room immediately.

"Miss, you shouldn't be here!" The guard tried to stop her. "Draw out the camera near the bathroom, hurry up." She ordered.

"Miss, please leave." The guard tried to touch her and hold her back, but he was pushed away ruthlessly. "Do you want me to fire you?! Show me the recording now!" She yelled. She removed her mask and tossed it on the floor. "Did you hear me?"

"R-right away, Ma'am." The man trembled, recognizing her.

Adriana was glad she had inspected the staff members a week before. Since they all signed confidentiality contracts she didn't have to worry about her pictures being leaked. She also was relieved that this man was there on the day of the inspection and recognized her quickly because she would have not hesitated to knock him out and check the cameras herself.

The man pulled out the cameras but there was no sing of Aria. "Check the recent ones. From 30 minutes ago. It can't belong since she disappeared." Adriana watched from behind him impatiently. "Excuse me Ma'am what exactly are we looking for?' The man asked nervously. "My daughter. She's the only 6-year-old girl in the building. It shouldn't be hard to find her." Adriana replied.

"Here!" The imagine showed Aria and James separating. Aria went towards the bathroom area but the camera did not show where she went next. "Show me the camera from the other side. It should be 3 seconds later." Adriana told him.

She cursed when there was no sign of her. "Crap."

She taught Aria to hide and protect herself just in case but not hide herself away from her own mother! "Tch." Adriana swallowed when she saw Noah Preston was the person who appeared a few minutes after.

She watched him exit the building but there was no sing of Aria anywhere. 'At least it's not him.' She sighed in relief. What worried her was how easily Aria avoided the cameras. No, it annoyed her!

Adriana exited the room and hurried to find Bryan. When she exited the room she saw Bryan run ning towards her while shaking his head. "Damn it is it so hard to find a little girl?! Inspect all the cars in the basement and all the guests. If you don't find her tonight saw goodbye to your limps!" She yelled.

"Useless! All of you." She stormed back inside the room and took control of the cameras herself she went through all the cameras in the building but there was no sign of her. "Damn it!"

"Adriana calm down. Your anger is just making the guards nervous. If you keep on threatening them…" Bryan tried to calm her down but he was interrupted. "So what do I do Bryan? DIt down and have tea?!" She yelled slamming her hand on the table.

"Adriana!"

"Someone could have kidnapped her! Do you know what you are asking me? I will kill them all if they harm her!"

"I know but you have to calm down! Violence won't solve anything!" He yelled back.

"I'm not a fan of violence either but if they hurt my daughter I don't mind sending a bullet through their skulls!" She yelled back making the guards even more terrified. Adriana who was usually calm and composed for the first time lost her cool. The fear of having her daughter getting hurt overwhelmed her and before she knew it she had lost control.

She had lost her daughter once and she was afraid to lose her again. The fear that this time she might lose Aria forever was taking over her and she even forgot about the letter Aria left her.

"All of you shut up!" Crysty yelled waving the letter in the air. "Have you lost your mind? Did you even read the letter? She's just being naughty. We will track her down. She wasn't even kidnapped." Crysty tried to make the situation better but she just made it worse.

"What kind of logic is that? Aria would never do something like that!" Adriana countered. "Why are you all standing there like idiots? Keep searching!" She yelled again but this time to the guards.

"Mommy….."James called out. He pouted his lips seeing his mother flaring up. "James." Adriana took a deep breath and forced herself to calm down because she didn't want James to see her all angry. He took him in her arms and sat him down hugging him tightly and finally starting to calm down.

Crysty and Bryan sighed in relief knowing only James would be able to calm her down. They exited the room after assuring her that they would continue looking.

"Mommy. She will be fine we will find her." James reassured her while hugging her tightly. "Hmm thank you, baby. We will find her." She repeated hoping her words would come true and that she will indeed have her daughter in her hands soon. More than that she wanted to talk with Aria and punish her for making her mother so worried.

She didn't want to believe it but in the letter, Aria mentioned 'handsome friend.' the only handsome men that appeared sound the same time and place where Aria disappeared is Noah Preston. Adriana was hoping the suspicion is just that and not a reality. Not to mention Aria also wrote about a possible 'future husband' for her.

'This girl….' Adriana groaned inwardly.
