Chapter 51 - University

Tina sighed. "You are so scary. I thought I was going to die."

Tristan laughed. "Actually, my punch was harmless from the very beginning. What I did was create cues for your subconscious to think I was going to kill you. Fake intent like this." Tristan shifted his leg a bit and suddenly it felt lile he was going to kill them, even though he was giving oit a genial smile, the smile suddenly felt cruel and evil.

Joanna was excited. "Teach me how to do that. I can then chase guys away easily."

Tristan shook his head. This girl's head was in the wrong place.

The other four also jumped in. "Yeah, tell us. That is so cool, how do you suddenly do that?"

"You fight a lot of life and death battles and you can form tactics like this." Tristan said. Technically this skill of his had been learned from the years of fighting Ares, but he couldn't tell that to others.

"So, what does the Special Community actually do?" Tristan asked.

"Teaching about the hidden world, Training for combat, field work and missions. There are special teachers for this." Joanna said.

"Which organization do the teachers belong to?" Tristan asked.

"Technically they belong to the Academic Alliance. It can be considered a neutral faction on Earth." Tina said.

"Academic Alliance is a neutral faction that exists throughout all different worlds. Every world has schools and they belong to them. They are a passive neutral force, but can be a force to reckon with." She continued.

"Interesting. I didn't know much about it before." Tristan said. He thought about finding out more about this alliance later. "Are there any other freshmen here already? I'd like to meet them."

"You are the first. Hang out in the dorm, you might find some folks." Joanna said.

Tristan agreed and parted ways with the group. After sparring for a bit he was refreshed. He decided to complete his exploration and then return to the dorm.

As he was walking along a path, he saw a man and a dog jogging past him. He didn't pay attention, but suddenly the man was standing beside him.

"You've formed your plate? Which year are you in?" The man asked.

Tristan looked at the man and felt an unfathomable amount of strength, similar to other experts he had seen in the last year. He nodded. "I'll be a freshman a week later."

The man looked at him, up and down. "Your plate is not normal." He smirked.

"You can tell?" Tristan was shocked, because after merging the [Choice Totem] he had gained absolute control over his plate, which meant that he could make it absolutely still in public and it would be impossible for others to even detect that he was an evolved.

"I can't tell anything at all, which is why I said that it isn't normal. Your plate my be invisible, but your body still shows signs of an evolved. Note down my office number. Come to my office later, I'll teach you how to hide your presence completely, then you'll be formidable." The man said.

Tristan was shocked, he had never considered that he could be exposed in this manner and felt enlightened. "Thank you teacher for your advice. May I know your name?"

"I'm the principal." The man said with another smirk. "I mean the principal for the special community." The man said and then jogged off.

Tristan nodded and went on his way as well. He spent some time enjoying the greenery before he returned to the dorm. He went to the common room and sat down on the sofa, his most favorite furniture in the world.

There was another person in the room reading a sailor moon comic. Tristan smiled. "Hey brother, did you just discover sailor moon?"

The young man looked irritated. "I'm not brother. My name is Arthur. Yes I'm reading this sailor moon for the first time. I must say it is quite interesting."

Tristan's mouth cramped. How serious was this guy? Just imagining a super serious guy liking a mahou shojo manga at this age... "Nice to meet you Arthur. My name is Tristan."

Arthur gave a slight nod and ignored Tristan. Tristan was bored as well so he was playing a game on his phone. There was no one else who had checked in so early.

"So what major are you choosing?" Tristan asked.

"Does it matter?" Arthur replied. "I came to join the Special Community. I don't think my major is a factor in that."

"Oh, special community? I saw their stall set up some time back when I was strolling through the campus." Tristan said.

"What? They've already opened?" Arthur suddenly jerked with shock. "I've been wasting my time here for nothing. Lead me to the stall."

"Ha? Did you come from some hidden royal family or something? You need to fix that attitude of yours before you try to integrate into society man. You can't order around people like that on Earth." Tristan joked.

Arthur gulped. He almost exposed himself just now. "I apologize for my misbehavior. Please lead me to the stall, I need to register immediately."

Tristan was bored anyway, so he led Arthur back to the bunch of desks and chairs. This time Joanna was sitting in the chair along with Tina and another guy who seemed to be a senior.

"Hey, you're back to trouble us already?" Joanna smiled.

"This guy here got excited when he heard about your stall." Tristan slapped Arthur's shoulder who turned stiff.

The guy who was sitting in the stall suddenly got up. "Tristan? You are Joanna's brother? I heard about what you did just now."

"Senior how should I address you?" Tristan asked with a smile.

"I am Ronald. I heard bullied Miss Tina here?" Ronald asked.

Tristan had a question mark on his face. "You want to win the heart of a woman, fine. But why do you have to bully a third party for that?" Tristan asked.

Ronald grit his teeth. "You..."

"What I... did Tina said anything? Or are you trying to act like a numbskull white knight?" Tristan didn't back down. He did not have patience for this kind of drama.

Ronald looked at Tina amd saw that she looked at him with despise and suddenly felt embarrassed.

Tristan shook his head and pointed at Arthur. "Arthur here, wants to enroll."

Tina nodded and looked at Arthur. "What are you planning to study here?"

Arthur thought for a moment. "Everything I can."

Tina was dumbfounded. She shook her head and took out the testing orb. "Here hold this."

Arthur did as he was told. Then the orb began glowing various colors very brightly.

Joanna looked shocked as she read the results. "You have peak talent in everything!"
