Chapter 15 - Ridiculous Arguments

Slender's Pov

I decide to go killing to try and clear my head when I feel a familiar presence in my woods. I instantly recognize it as Y/N and follow her as she walks through the forest. She seems very calm and content as she listens to music and enjoys the smell of the towering pine trees, running her hands along the trunks. She walks into my favorite clearing and relaxes and I take this time to reveal myself. Now is her time to die.

"Dear child, you know it's dangerous to wander the woods when there's a serial killer around," I say, walking up to her.

"Dear Slenderman please join me," she says, keeping her eyes closed.

"Excuse me?" I ask shocked, my heart beating faster.

"I said please join me. This place is very peaceful and killing me here would ruin its beauty. Please be patient and wait until I head home," she says, opening her eyes and smiling.

"You're not scared?" I ask her.

"No sir. I have also accepted the fact of no escape," she says.

"Y/N I murder people," I state trying to scare her.

"I am aware sir," she says sitting up. "Now please sit."

"Y/N I suggest you run," I growl taking on my murderous form.

"Sir! I asked you to wait until I head home. Now sit," she says firmly.

For some reason I instantly sit down and at first I am shocked until I realize that I am doing it because she took on an authoritative air. She simply smirks at me and I realize something. I came out here to go killing, I planned on killing her when I saw her, but now my heart hammers in my chest. The feeling is stronger than when she was near me in my human form because she isn't running like a scared little girl.

"You're very odd," I remark, sitting beside her.

"Why thank you," she says lying back down. "I envy you."

"You envy me?" I ask in shock.

"Yeah. You get all this freedom and all of these woods to yourself," she says.

"Well I don't always have freedom," I say chuckling.

"True but you can teleport anywhere in a second. I wish I could do that," she says.

"I'd gladly give it to you if it meant I could be normal," I say sadly.

"Why would you want that Slender?" she asks sitting up and cocking her head adorably.

"Because it gets lonely being a killer," I say.

"What about everyone in Slender Mansion?" she asks me confused.

"Sure they help but I also need someone who has my superior intellect," I say.

"Haha! You're intellect?!" she asks laughing.

"Why's that so funny?" I ask her in confusion.

"Because no one has lived as long as you so they won't be as intellectual as you," she says.

"Well someone I can have a real conversation with," I retort.

"That I can respect," she say smiling at me.

"I am aware how old I am," I say simply.

"see that's why you can't get along with people!" she exclaims. "You make smart ass comments that make people feel bad for not knowing as much!"

"Well they should be more educated on certain things," I huff.

"Unbelievable," she says in annoyance.

"How is that unbelievable?" I ask her.

"you blame other people when they have no control over they're knowledge! If they lived as long as you they could discuss more but they're also not as up tight and formal as you are. They actually know how to have fun thank you very much," she says.

"I know how to have fun!" I say irritated.

"No you don't. You think fun is for idiots and non-intellectual beings. Reading and working isn't fun. Well reading is but not your average everyday fun," she remarks.

"I'm done discussing this," I grumble.

"And I'm done period. See you around Slenderman," she says standing and walking off.

"But....," I trail off, staring after her.

"No butts!" she yells disappearing.

"You're good," I growl appearing in front of her and kissing her deeply before disappearing, not giving her the chance to kiss back.
