Chapter 12 - Chapter 11: My One And Only Queen

" What?!" The two men said in shock.

" Like I said my Queen, you would be there for him but you must not help him by taking over, but instead, you're there to observe him and only help him when needed . As you know the empire right now currently lacks generals. Besides you and your father, others could be counted by your fingers. We must strengthen our military. Isn't it the best opportunity to cultivate some? Just as you said your brother lacks experience then why don't we give him some experience and if things go South you would be there for him... " Xian pause.

" And besides, don't you want to go out and once again stand on the field though it may not be the same as the front line but still it's better than being locked up in our Palace all day right? " He continued with a smile but for some reason Aizel felt something was hidden in that smile.

After their conversation and Xian's shameless public displays of affection General Kinsley excuses himself. Aizel looked at the man still smiling at him which gave him goosebumps.

" Your majesty, are you really serious about what you said earlier?" Aizel asked, ignoring the creepy feelings behind his majesty's smile.

" About what my Queen?" Xian smiled even brightly as he asked the man in front of him.

" About letting me go with my brother." Aizel said, wanting for Xian's confirmation.

" Of course, you were once a great general that brought many achievements for the country; not to mention the youngest general in history. Who would better guide your brother than you?" Xian said, looking at his queen.

Yes looking at his Queen's qualifications, his Queen is really a more suitable king than that bastard Original.

" Your majesty, you must know that a consort must not leave the Palace let alone go to a battle wielding a sword." Aizel said full of doubt.

"My Queen, you must never compare yourself to the other woman. They were never generals. They never fought in a war. Never did they protect the people and the country from foreign invaders. My Queen you must never lower your worth to match other people because you are not them and they are not you and they can never be you... " Xian walked closer to his queen, held his cheeks and slowly leaned in until their forehead touched one another.

"... Because you were My one and Only Queen" Xian softly said as he kissed his Queen's soft pink lips.

Because of Xian's shamelessness and unyielding attitude Aizel was forced to accept Xian's 'love' in broad daylight. Just how can a serious conversation such as the future of the country ended up with an intense sex? Not to mention in the middle of the DAY! Aizel wanted to shout this out loud but knowing that it would further damage his already damaged reputation Aizel decided to keep it in.

Xian looked at the man sleeping beside him and smiled. It's really fun teasing this Queen of mine, from all the men and women that I slept with in the past my Queen is far more adorable. Xian thought to himself.

Xian looked outside of the window which had already turned dark. He looked once again at the person soundly sleeping at the bed and gently smiled. This may be the most sincere smile Xian has ever made ever since he transmigrated to this world but unfortunately Xian himself hasn't noticed it.

Xian slowly leaned in to his Queen and kissed him on the forehead, he then stood to get his Cape. It's a waste not to admire the stars at night. I bet the sky right now is absolutely beautiful. Xian thought.

Xian slowly walked outside his Queen's Palace and looked at the stars. Since when is the last time he manages to take a look at the stars in the sky? In his last life back when he was a child, every time his mother beat him leaving him lying on the ground not being able to move, Xian would always stare at the skies looking at the stars like it's some kind of salvation for him. When he was in his teens and his whole body covered with wounds and bruises, while his mother made him his father's replacement he would always look at the stars in the skies like it's some kind of escape to reality. When he manages to escape his mother's grasp he walks in the cruel society thinking that everything would be better now. Oh how naive he was, being pushed in the corner Xian was forced to make drastic sacrifices to survive. Yeah, maybe then it was the time that he lost his eyes to his star.
