In a secluded area, there was an abandoned house that many people say that it was haunted, so many people aren't fond of walking within its radius. But, inside of that said house there was a woman who was currently resting peacefully on the top of the table.
Deneza opens her eyes as she sits up. She was looking around. She felt bad about not knowing where she was.
"Is it the kitchen or a living room?" She asked herself.
Now that she clears her mind for resting for a while, she now then noticed that she was inside the house. But, she was a little confused. She didn't know if she was in the kitchen or in the living room, because there is no wall separating the two. After the door, the living room is followed by a kitchen.
Judging by the table that she was seated, it must be a kitchen table, but since she kicked it away, it was now in the living room.
Considering what happened hours ago. She chuckled and said, "If it happens that I died here, would it be ironic to die in the living room?" After she made that comment. She laughed at herself to support her own joke.
She expected an abandoned building instead of an abandoned house. Isn't that always been the setting in dramas?
After a short rest, she got up and walked towards the door before opening it. Although her fever hasn't gone down yet, but it's even gone up, she wants to leave this place right now. The reason? It's pretty simple. That's because once she gets a fever, she's not herself. She'd never stay in the same place every time she got a fever. This is a hellish habit that not many people knew. Besides, there isn't anyone looking for her in this country, nor living with her. Which is also why she was out in spite of her fever. She's also someone who would rather sweat the fever over night than to take some cold medication.
The reason she can speak properly to Leilanie is because of the cold water that pulled her out of her trance. And also because she received a drip her fever went down temporarily so she could talk clearly with the thugs. If she hadn't fought instead of resting, her fever wouldn't have gotten that bad.
"Where am I?" She said after walking for about an hour, but she didn't see anyone. But then she shrugs it off since she didn't care. She will just go where her feet brought her. That's how things have always been.
"Are you a ghost?" All of a sudden, Deneza heard a voice which seemed like the voice of a child, the voice sounds a little frightened.
She frowned and turned to look where this voice came from and there it was. A young child between the ages of five and six who pointed at her and looked at her with an innocent face. Though that child's expression is a little frightened while looking at her.
Deneza smiled for a second while walking toward that child and stopped in front of her. She knelt down so that the child would not need to look up at her. She tilted her head and said, "That's right, I don't know where else to go, though."
The child widens her eyes and made a big 'O' saying she believes her. The child then said, "Shouldn't you be going to heaven to get some rest?"
Deneze paused and pressed her lips tightly when she heard her answer. She was speechless, but what did she expect? Despite the fact that this child was afraid of her as she thought she was a ghost, her innocence will still be on top.
She scratches her glabella before she looks at the child and said, "Yeah, but I don't know how to get out here."
The child tilted her head before she said, "I don't know too, I'm not dead yet."
Now, Deneza wasn't sure if her headache was coming from the fever or from this child. But before she could say anything, she heard a scream in front of her.
"Saye!" They both looked out for the voice and saw a middle-aged woman walking. "Mom!" The child named Saye runs towards her mother and she said, "Mom, she is a ghost!" The middle-aged woman frowned before looking at Deneza. She was shocked before she looked at her daughter, shaking her head and said, "She wasn't."
Deneza only watched them for a while before she opens her mouth to cut their reunion and said, "May I ask, where is the main road to get out of this place?"
The mother looked at her, pointing at her left side and said, "Simply keep walking along this path and you will reach the road in 20mns"
Deneza looked where the mother was pointing, nodded her head and said, "Thank you." Before she walked away.
When she was walking, she finally noticed the way she looked. It was no wonder the child regarded her as a ghost the moment she saw her. And how the mother was shocked at the sight of her. Even for herself, if she saw someone the same way she looks, she'd think she's a ghost as well.
Her hair was disheveled, there's some a blood on her clothes and her arms. The bondage she has on her arms are torn.
That can't be helped since she also used the bondage as her weapon. There's a little blood on it, too. The blood was hers. There's no way the blood could have come from those dumb thugs, because she was very careful not to let them bleed.
After a long walk, she finally reached its end and she now finally sees the road. She looked up and saw the plate. "Road A" She pressed her lips tightly.
She didn't think Leilanie would bring her here. It was far from where she lived. She was staying at Road K. She lifted up her hand and pinched the skin between her eyebrows and sighed. She's having a headache again. She seems to have no fever, but she does! Thinking of the distance she must travel, which makes her want to weep. She's got neither money nor cell phone. Moreover, she still has a fever. However, what could she do? It wasn't an issue for her, because every time she had a fever, she always went out and go around who knows where.
Shortly before she began to walk, she sensed something that she could not identify. Her sixth feeling was telling her that the place where she stood was very dangerous at the moment. She frowned for having a bad feeling, looked around and saw the car chasing her.
"This is pedestrian lane!" She said, but before she tried to avoid the oncoming car, she was already hit with it.
/ Thud
She turned to the car which she was quite familiar with. This car was driven by Leilanie. But she didn't give a shit about that matter. What matters to her as of now was she hated the fact that she's losing her consciousness again!
"Damn It!" She cursed inwardly before she passed out.
