"Deneza... it sounds nice and lovely like you. It shall be your name then."
As she heard something like a high pitch in her ears, her sense of hearing slowly returned her until she clearly heard the voices that were busy talking to each other, oblivious to the woman who was asleep a while ago are now slowly regaining her consciousness.
Her eyelids trembles as she slowly opens her eyes. She was still in a dazed state, still processing the current situation she has to face now.
"Right." She murmured once her memories from not-so-long ago came into her mind.
She looks around and cannot find the presence of the woman who dared to kidnap her, frowning as she raises her eyebrows, looking displease for not to seeing the stupid woman.
Her fever seemed to cool down and was not as light-headed as the first time she regained consciousness when Leilanie splashed the cold water on her.
The string was still attached to her hands behind her, but not as tight as before. She shifted her eyes to the street hooligans and counted. She squinted her eyes, looking downside unbothered on how many are they in total. She was calculating her plans in her head and trying to break free from the rope. She uses her head to sit on the table beautifully and watch the hooligans who were still busy talking to themselves, trying to loose the rope completely. It wasn't long before she loosened it up 'cause those stupid 'kidnappers' are so stupid.
She didn't care what they were talking about and never bothered to hear what was in their conversation because it must've been a very boring topic.
After a while, Deneza shook her head, feeling bored and annoyed, but still waiting to be noticed. But it looks like they'd need a lot of time to notice it. They look like gossip that could be seen all over the street rather than thugs. At least most of the thugs she knew weren't that stupid, but these hooligans' idiocy was one of a kind.
She sighed as she made a comment in her mind, "It was no wonder because their employer was an idiot too."
She chuckled and said softly, "I guess she wasn't as dumb as I thought she was since she made a move while I had a fever, huh?"
As soon as they have heard an unfamiliar voice whispering softly that does not seem a voice that belongs to one of them. And the hooligans looked out from whence the sound came, and looked upon Deneza, who sat idly upon the table, as though she were sitting upon his throne, with a playful expression but no emotion in her eyes and said, "Oh, did you at last notice me?" She raised her eyebrows, looked at them with displeasure, and continued to say, "Must I celebrate?"
The hooligans widen their eyes, not knowing what to do, Shock filled their eyes and turned into fear, but it wasn't long before they returned to their 'gangster' aura.
Looking at the petite woman who seems weak and would be easily broken with one blow from their fingers, comparing her build to theirs which was much more robust and larger than hers. Even though she was a dangerous woman who had already killed someone, she was still on her own while they were in the group.
But they will never expect that the woman they underestimated due to her small body could send them to hell to gain more experience in life?
They will never comprehend the significance of "Quality is better than quantity." What's the use of a lot of numbers if the quality is so-so? It was like a pile of fake jewelry against a piece of genuine gold jewelry. They are completely worlds apart.
"Your name is Deneza right? How about you come and have fun with us?" One of the thugs looked at her face and her body with greed and lust.
Deneza looked at him, a dark glow flashed over her eyes and emitted a deadly aura as her eyes narrowed and said, her voice turned chilly, "You want to die?"
The hooligan who said that felt chill down to his spine, every hair that was on his body rose up, Looking at her eyes as if she were looking at the person who was already dead, it was as if all the forces of his life had emptied and drained just by that gazed alone and his knee was jelly. He stutterly said, "N-no... s-sorry." He was frightened and turned his head to avoid looking at her eyes.
"She said and smiled, but the smile never reached her eyes. For the bystander that smile could be considered as one of the most beautiful things on earth, but for the hooligans it wasn't! It's as if it were the devil's smile! She was like a devil herself!
But because as she said that, the hooligan heaved a sigh of relief, But it wasn't long before he felt reassured when a table suddenly flew in his direction.
It was already too late for him to evade because the table was already half a metre away from him. He was shocked silly, frozen to his spot unsure what's happening and what he had to do when a he felt the table touched his whole being as his body flew away along with the table.
The table is heavy, a lot heavier than him. With a loud bang, that hooligan who lusted Deneza earlier, as soon as his body hit the wall he lost his consciousness, still wearing that disbelief, confused expression. He was being sandwiched with the wall and the table.
The rest of the thugs had no idea what had just happened. One of their pals that was with them a moment ago was sent metres away from them. Their bodies were stiffened and frozen immediately, digesting what had just happened.
Deneza didn't care how they reacted as she walked slowly toward the hooligans, she used her foot to move the table and looked at his face. "Oh, he just fainted?" She said to her mind, frowning in disbelief. As if she discovered something unbelievable, she turned around and looked at the hooligans which were still frozen in their place, looking at her with fear. She chuckled as she said softly, "Just as I thought."
Her low laugh drew the senses of the hooligans back to reality while they all looked at Deneza who also looked at them in a playful manner.
She was smiling at them. If the place isn't here, they might think she was seducing them, but the place was here and the timing is wrong! This very forsaken home! A secluded area which people aren't fond of going. The way she looked at them, it's like a devil came out of her territory, hell to come here just to take their wicked souls.
Their body shook unintentionally, and did not think much before running to the door, they felt that if they did not leave, then their life would be in danger! But even before they could reach the door, they stopped because the table was far too quick to reach the door.
"I wouldn't mind you running away because that's the best option for all of you." Deneza casually stated, "At least you know when to retreat. I approved it."
"T-then..." They tried to speak, but before they finished their words, they heard what she said later.
"But what I most disapprove of is you forgetting your other friend." A deadly aura suddenly emerged from her body, but it was only a second before she returned with her playful expression, still looking at them nonchalantly.
"We're doomed." That's the only thing they can think about.
