"Are you done choosing? Then go get change at the fitting room so we could see if it suits you."
Clyde said with a nonchalant attitude, while at the same time petting Naomi that was resting soundly on his lap.
"Err... Can we choose another store???"
Syra suggested sheepishly and hearing this, a crease started to appear on Clyde's seemingly flawless forehead.
"Why? Are the clothes here not into your liking???"
He asked back as he looked around the place to check how the dresses looked like.
"They seemed decent though?"
He added afterward as he walked around and grabbed some of the clothes every now and then.
"Just take anything for now so that you could have something to change for a week. Then I will bring you somewhere else next time."
Clyde offered, although he personally could not understand why Syra did not like the clothes in the store.
"No, the thing is, the items here were way too expensive. I don't think it is wise to buy them at such a price only to wear them as I cleaned the house. It was not like I am going anywhere."
Syra finally decided to reveal her concern when the other party did not seem to be getting it right away.
"So all you were worried about was the price? Have I not told you already that I would pay for it?"
When Clyde heard of Syra's response, he was not sure what to feel, but his impatience was sure starting to kick in.
So rather than letting Syra chose for herself, he did it instead. Coincidentally, a sales lady approached them to assist Clyde.
"Is there something I could help you, Sir?"
The sales lady asked Clyde using the sweetest voice that she could ever master, while at the same time deliberately batting her eyelashes.
'TSS. What a lame attempt to get a guy's attention.'
Syra said inside her head as she observed how coquettish the sales lady was acting. It was also only then that she realized that even the other sales ladies were all looking in their direction.
Or more accurate to say, at Clyde's direction.
But who could blame them though??? The other party was simply eye candy wherever he went. Despite how plain and casual his get-up was, Clyde's presence was still screaming with overflowing charisma.
With his black ripped jeans and a white shirt that was topped with a denim jacket, Clyde looked like a runaway model.
Meanwhile, when Clyde noticed how weird the sales lady's eyes were acting, he could not help but raised an eyebrow.
It was not his first time encountering someone like that. In fact, it was for that same reason why he also did not go outside that often.
"Young miss, do you get a problem with your eyes? Why do you keep blinking like that? Could you please stay away from me? I don't wish to be infected by any virus you got there."
Clyde said coldly then he took Syra's hand and walked away.
"Geez. Do you see that??? It was precisely for that same reason, why I rarely went to public places. Being handsome was sure a curse because wherever I go, I would always end up being inconvenienced by those aggressive female species On a few occasions, some would even get stolen shots of me and there was even one time when I was approached by a mob all because they thought that I was a celebrity."
Clyde explained as they exited the store but hearing him said it that way, Syra was not sure if the other party was really complaining or he was simply bragging.
