'Mutiple hostiles located Quest: Kill to survive!' After a few seconds the panel disappeared leaving me astounded and disgusted.
"Mr. Jerome I'm sorry for what is about to happen." I state slightly feeling disgusted but I still tried to mask it. "I am now aware that you are not an actual employee there, and have no intent to talk to us." I turned to leave but abruptly stopped as I discovered that the path was blocked. Two men in their thirties were standing together blocking the path.
"I am afraid I cannot allow you to leave. We need to know about the bug you found and if anything happened after you discovered or fixed it."
"Well when I figured it out it disappeared. Why do you need to know so badly!" Rex answered defensively putting himself between me and Mr. Jerome. "Now that you know we need to leave we have other obligations today."
"No as this bug was not normal and it presents a danger to you and your friend." He stated simply sounding innocent. "So we need you to come with us to test if you have been exposed to anything dangerous!" He said more aggressively stepping towards us.
I whispered to Rex, "Run when I tell you I'm going to move the two behind us and escape!" he simply nodded after and waited. "Mr. Jerome I appreciate the advice and your concern but have no intention of going with you. NOW!!" As soon as I yelled Rex and I turned around and ran towards the two men blocking the path. I came closer and reached out to push them away.
*Beep* *Beep* 'Inventory access granted items delivered and equipped for your class'
*Beep* 'Class granted based on current stat values. Class generated... Assassin'
Before I could stop myself or read the panels appearing before my eyes two knives appeared in my hands. As I reached the two men and were driven straight into their chests killing them instantly.
*Beep* 'Scorpio Guard killed 600 xp granted'

*Beep* 'Level up congratulations'
*Beep* 'Quest update: Continue Running to Survive' I barely had time to process all of the panels appearing before me as they appeared.
"What was that!" Rex asked behind me still running with me. I was too surprised to realize what happened as I ran faster. "Keep going he isnt chasing us!" He called out to me from behind. We didn't stop till we got to my house and were safely inside.
"Well that went well didn't it? Guess we are going to have to lay low for a while." I tried putting a comical spin on it, but as I thought about it there was no way for us to do that. 'What can two sixteen year olds do to lay low?' I thought to myself. Clearly Rex was thinking the same thing judging from the worried expression in his face. "Hey Rex stay here with me and my family!"
"How is that fair to you?"
"They wont come to get me after that display."
"Or they might call the cops and have you arrested!" He argued with me trying to figure out the best option. "MR. RUDACILLE CAN WE TALK TO YOU!" He suddenly yelled out before I noticed. We then heard the sound of footsteps approaching my bedroom door.
"Whatcha need kiddos? You sound worried." He said walking into the room. He looked at our faces and grew suspicious. "What happened at the meeting?" Almost immediately we both started to explain exactly what happened since we left the house. Our voices clashed against one another and all we managed was a mangled explanation. "Hold up one at a time!" My dad said holding his hands up to slow us down to a stop. We explained it quickly while taking turns. we quickly approached the part where managed our escape. I noticed that Rex was starting to say less and less as I came to that moment we had both stopped talking.
"As we started to r-r-run I tried to push the guards away b-b-b-but I somehow managed to grab a couple knives from nowhere, and somehow managed to k-k-k-k-kill them and we just kept running faster and faster." I finished the story and stood there and stared at my dad in silence. He stood staring at me with his mouth hanging open though he said nothing for a short time.
"I need you to stay at home and not leave the house for a while. I'm going to call some friends and see what we can do." He turned and left the room. I looked at Rex and shrugged thoughtfully.
"What is he thinking, and just who exactly is he going to call to get help for us?" Rex asked exasperated trying to hold his fear inside. "How exactly did you kill those two people though Addy? I never even thought you would ever be capable of something like that. How are you feeling after doing all of that though?"
"Strangely I'm fine, are you ok? I know that you are not used to doing things like all of that." I returned the question to him. He certainly looked a shade or two lighter than normal.
"I'm fine I guess I'm more worried about you and why knives randomly appeared in your hands!"
*Beep* the alarm and panel appeared as I began to think about how annoying the system was when I could not tell anyone about it. 'The current person is able to know about the system.' As the panel then disappeared I felt the weight of everything disappear as I read everything.
"I have a couple of different things to tell you and you have to keep them completely secret if people like Mr. Jerome found out it would put a lot of people in danger.
"Ok like what is so important and secret you couldn't say before we went to that strange meeting with Mr. Psycho!" He said much louder than he had intended.
