My mom and sister reached the door first and went through it. Uncle Russell followed close behind them "Shit go back! They are back here too!" He said pushing mom and Ariel back inside. "What the hell is up with these guys how did one get behind the house?!" I already knew that one had ran back as soon as the door had closed but didn't have a chance to warn my family before they had ran back to find him there. What did alarm me was how fast the man had moved when he ran.
"We need to find a way out as fast as possible!" My dad began talking with uncle russ about the number of way to leave and the exact problems with each one. Suddenly my dad turned to me with a glint of hope in his bright eyes. "Addy how exactly did you move as fast as you did to save me and slash at that man out there? This idea might just work if they are hunting you alone."
"I don't know I kind of just did my body reacted before I realised what was going on." I replied then followed with my own question. "Why? Do you have a plan in mind to get it done? I'm guessing it would be a distraction while you guys ran to the car right?"
"Yeah that is exactly what I was thinking about if you can run faster than then we have a great chance to pull this off!" He said excitedly waiting for his families reaction to this new piece of news.
"I can do it I just need to change first!" I ran over to the restroom and undressed and quickly pulled the assassin robes out of my inventory and pulled them on. The robes were very flexible and breathed nicely as if they were made for me. My movements were not impeded at all, and it was very form fitting against my body.
I exited the bathroom and walked to the door. "Give me two minutes from the time I go out the door. Get to the truck quickly and start driving. I will catch up if you keep it slow past the park." I hurriedly explained the escape plan to them before I left out the door. I walked calmly out the door and was immediately surrounded by the two men left out front.
"Miss Addy we need you to come with us! This is not optional nor can you resist." The taller of the two men spoke sternly to me his voiced seemed to be dripping with spoiled authority. The other man grabbed my wrist and began walking up the sidewalk. After another minute or so the man at the back of the house came and joined us as we walked towards the park. I heard a truck start and the engine revved up a moment later.
"Sorry guys but I must be going now!" I tried to shake off the man grabbing my wrist but his grip was stronger than I anticipated. I summoned one of the two daggers as I spun to face him and slashed towards his wrist a moment later the grip on my arm lessend and I started running as quickly as I could. I was running past the park as my uncles truck drove by and I jumped into the bed and felt the truck lurch strongly forward as I landed in the bed. I looked behind me as I sat down and saw the three men had stopped chasing me as one clutched his hand.
*Beep* 'Emergency Quest complete Rewards are now available to accept.' Finally the mission was complete but it did not mention rewards when I checked it out. '7 Stat points, 1 mystery reward, 5 Class advancement points' Well that answers the question about what I received but what was in the mystery reward box I wanted to know but decided to wait until I had a private place to look and see what it was. Now the Class advancement points were self explanatory but I wonder what it could become? For now that would have to wait. The journey to my uncle's so called hideout place was much longer than it had seemed when I was little.
We finally arrived and began to set up a place for us all to stay while we waited everything out. We were deep in the woods so it was difficult for anyone to find us or even track us.
Time to hunt and explore all the options available to us as most will not be available to us in the future.
