After my joke I got sent to my room for a while. I used that time to sleep on an actual bed for the first time in what felt like weeks. I woke up and went out to the kitchen. Dad was cooking breakfast my favorite of bacon and pancakes.
"Hey dad what's the occasion?"
"I got bored I left my game system at home or I'd be playing now." He said kinda depressed. I picked up most of my game tricks from him.
"Oh why don't you play the old system in the attic? Uncle Russell ask as he walks in sniffing the bacon.
"Which one is it man?"
"Oh it's Dad's old playstation?" He replied smiling slightly.
"You down to get your butt kicked in CTR again bro!" my dad whips around faster than I thought humanly possible.
"What are you guys talking about that game isn't that old!" I said from the side.
"Oh come with us and find out!" They both say simultaneously. 'Not good' I think immediately these two have been gamers since they were 4-5 respectively.
Uncle Russell climbs down from the attic with a box. and brings it into the living room cords and a small grey box come out along with the oldest controllers I have ever seen. Next thing I know I'm getting my butt kicked at some old school games I never heard of before. Russell and Dad are super happy with everything.

'Holy shit that's cool!' I get stunned at the wall of messages in my view. Meanwhile they don't even notice and are too busy blowing each other's cars up to notice.
"Yo don't lose now man we going all day" my dad taunts my uncle. "Shit my bacon!" he pauses the game and runs into the kitchen.
My uncle takes this time to try and cheat but I slap his hand and we laugh about it.

'Cool that's new' My mind immediately kicks into gear on the ways to beat them without cheating. It takes me a few minutes but I come up with a plan.
"Let's eat while it's hot. Thankfully I didn't burn it." My dad comes in and calls us to the table.
'Good more time to think.' I head into the kitchen and see a pile of bacon and pancakes on the table. By now everyone else is awake and making there way in. We sit down and dig in.

"Alright back to the game!" Dad says as soon as we finish. We go back to the couch and I enact my plan it still takes me 4 games to win the game and beat my dad and uncle.

'Yes!' I open my inventory and there was a gift box. "Back in a minute!" I head over to the bathroom, and pull out the gift box. 'I wonder what is inside?' Slowly I open the box. A bright light shines through the box and it disappears. In its place was a rifle.

'Sweet this is top level military equipment! No silencer though maybe the store sells one I am an assassin after all.'
