"You see what happened was I helped you with your game then I came home and went go sleep. When I woke up the system I was granted had shown up and asked if I wanted to be the player. Of course I said yes then mom and dad went shopping so I did chores and studies I was granted the skills for cleaning dishes and studying they both leveled a little bit. I leveled up after Mr. Jerome came over the first time and I was given a quest to get away from him. I then came inside and went through the rewards I was given. One of them was a unique skill book which I couldn't open because I did not have the level or attribute requirements. So I went to bed. Today I went through the normal routine and then we went to the meeting with Mr. Jerome. As we were running away the System told me that I had been granted access to the inventory function and the class of assassin was assigned due to the stats I had built up. So I was given basic assassin gear and that's where those two knives came from. The system did tell me that those men were part of the Scorpio Game company so maybe Mr. Jerome is too." I explained slowly to Rex as I paced around my room. He sat on the edge of my bed and didn't say anything till I finished speaking.
"So what level are you now then? Did you level up after killing those guys? You started to run a little faster after you stabbed them." He didn't even ask why I was given the system or anything like that.
"I'm a level three now after killing those two people. I just dont get the class though but I'm a dexterity, agility, and perception build so I guess it fits." I puzzled out the connection but it fits I guess. "Now I wonder how to access the inventory and what gear it gave me!"
*Beep* 'Access to inventory granted!' Suddenly two panels appeared before my eyes. The one with the message disappeared after a minute and the inventory appeared was displayed beneath. Inside the spaces there was the book of skills though it was in my room when I saw it last. 'I will question that later.' I then looked towards the other items and pulled them out of my inventory. The first items were the two knives that I had used earlier. I lifted them up and the information panel reappeared.
'Knives of the Assassin beginner grade. Damage +16
Critical chance increased by 5%
Critical damage increased by 50%
Attack speed increased by 3%'
All in all they were actually pretty impressive for beginner level equipment. The next items were not equipped when the class was given as they required me to change.
'Beginner Assassin Armor
Agility +2
Strength +2
Dexterity +2'
'Ring of Stealth
The ring allows the wearer to move quietly and slightly camouflages the wearer to make them harder to spot.'
Again these two items were extremely overpowered for beginner equipment. "Rex check this out!" I said excitedly wanting to try out the ring itself first. I placed it on my right middle finger and waited for the reaction.
"Wow you are somewhat blending in to your wall how are you doing that?!!" He asked full of excitement and wonder. At that time I pulled the ring off my hand and gave it to him.
*Beep* 'Ring of Stealth returned to inventory!' The panel left a moment later and I realized that the ring I just put in his band had vanished. "Sorry Rex looks like I can't give it to anyone." I apologized to him seeing his face panic as the ring was gone. A look of relief spread across his face quickly. "So I wonder if I can store anything in there?" I asked mostly to myself but he let me talk with no issues.
"Try tapping on something or thinking about it!" He suggested trying to be helpful. I always found this to be one of his best characteristics. I decided to try something small at first, and therefore picked up the school text book sitting one the end table beside me. 'Store in inventory' I thought to myself after a handful of seconds it vanished from my hands. I checked my inventory panel and sure enough it was sitting there next to the armor and ring.
