Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: When I woke up

Henae was walking home on her usual lonely and dark road. She was in her thoughts and wasn't paying attention to her surronding at all, just like she never really did.

Then, everything went dark and the last thing she remebered was darkness.

A girl was laying on a big, soft, silky red bed. Her beautifull light blue hair flowed on the pillows like a fress spring river. Slowly her eyelashes fluttered a bit and a pair of golden eyes slowly opend.

Henae was deep in thoughts.

"I was walking home didn't I?" She muttered to herself quetly as she observed the surronding and strange painting above her head.

"This place is too fancy to be a hospital."

The observing continued.

Warm colors filled the room, but there was something strange. Her eyes wondered away from the little winged kids on the roof. Next to the bed was a little bed side table and a lamp. On the left side there was a large and dark closet. after observing the mesmerizing dark wood, her gaze fell on some bookselves next to a big wooden door. The carving was like an old painting. The ivyes and the thorned roses where running across on it like snakes.

It reminded her to a fairy tale, the princess was sleeping in a tower surrinded by Ivy.

Her eyes fell on the bookshelf again.

Oh how much she loved those books. She often wondered why they where so interesting when every book is just a rearrangement of the same letters over and over again. Maybe she loved them because they where her only escape?

The books waried in size and color. She become really interested, but her curiosity was so much smaller to these books then to the whole room.

She ignored the urge to get up and walk to the self and moved her gave to the small make up tabble on the corner. It was white and really elegant. The huge mirror was shining as it reflected the sunshine from the window opposite.

"What a weird place" She tilted her head and moved her eyes away.

The next object was a fire place. It gave a comfortable feeling to her. The fire was always a thing that made calmness in her hearth and mind. The warmness that was coming from it soaked into her slightly cold fingers.

She then suddenly stopped.

Above the fire place there was a painting. A painting of a man. He was around his mid fourties but his hair was already white as snow. But his gaze...

His gaze gave her chills on her spine.

His eyes where golden and fierce. If like he had an undying hatred soaked in his hearth.

The girl quickly turned her gaze away.

In front of the fire place there was a sofa and a small coffe table with a really fluffy looking rug.

On her right there where only roof to floor legged windows with red curtains.

a sudden noise woke her up from her thoughts. She turned to face the loud noise. In the door she saw a girl in a long maid costum. Her hands where shaking and her eyes where wide open. The bowl that was originally in her hands was now laying on the floow with all of the water floding away with a small white towel.

The girl then suddenly ran away leaving Henae in the room alone.
