Coleman took a deep breath, then let Ms.Amber back into the office.
As she entered, she had a knowing and devious grin on her face.
He sighed, "How did you know that I like Leo?"
"I mean, I've known you for a very long time and throughout all of that, you've never looked, acted, or did anything like that to anyone. Anyone except Leo," she paused, "So I got to thinking, why would you suddenly do this? I deducted that it wasn't because he was an employee or a friend because, I mean we are talking about you, so I came to the conclusion that it's because you like him."
She had a confident and happy smile on her face when she finished and left Coleman in shock.
"You really watch to much detective shows. You're turning into one."
"I know, but that's not gonna stop me."
Her phone rang and she excused herself, leaving Coleman alone in the office. He walked over to the window and looked back into the night. The moon was very bright, and lit up the streets. He chuckled and turned off the lights so he could see the full beauty of the moon.
When he did, only one thing came to mind. The image of Leo sitting by the windowsill, looking at the night sky. The moonlight bouncing off his skin and light brown hair. When he spoke to the crow, and when tears dripped down his face.
"Oh Leo. Will I ever be able to get you out of my head?"
***
Leo walked out of the building and into the cold nighttime air. It was crisp and made him shiver a bit when a breeze passed.
'Dang it, I should've brought a jacket or left a bit earlier I guess.'
He walked down the street, holding his sides. He shivered and took a shaky breath.
'I need to get home soon. It's way to cold to be walking out here.'
Leo continued walking home, minding his own business, but something kept bothering and nagging at him.
'Am I being watched?'
He continued on his way until he heard steps behind him. Two men were following Leo down the street, both had mischievous smiles on their faces.
One of them licked his lips. He put his hand on Leo's shoulder and twisted him around, while the other slide behind Leo and grabbed his sides.
Leo squeaked at the contact and struggled against the man holding him. The man who's hand was on Leo's shoulder drew closer and held Leo's chin in a firm, tight grip.
Leo groaned at the pain and glared towards the man with his eyes, but that made the man even more exited.
"Oh, are you mad," he laughed, "even though you're glaring daggers, your eyes are so mesmerizing and beautiful."
The man holding Leo's arms, wrapped his arms around his waist and put his head on Leo's shoulder, "And you smell nice to."
'Disgusting.'
"Why don't you have some fun with us? Hm."
'Disgusting.'
"Don't worry, we know you're a guy, but we'll still be gentle."
'Disgusting.'
"So what do you say?"
'Disgusting!'
Leo's eyes glowed green and he opened his hands. He continued to glare at the man in front of him.
"Oh baby, why are you looking at me like that? You look like you wanna kill me. Hm."
"If you keep being bad then we won't have a choice, but to be rough."
"Do you want that baby?"
Leo screamed in his mind. Vines and sprouts all around him started growing and pulling towards Leo. The moon shined unnaturally bright in the sky. All the vines slowly grew towards Leo and creeped up the men's legs.
They grew faster and faster until they completely wrapped around their legs.
"What the!?" the men yelped.
The vines pulled on their feet and flipped them over and pulled them off of Leo. They were flipped upside down and were hanging from a nearby tree. Luckily no one was around to see this or else some randos would probably record it and post it to the internet.
Leo turned towards the men who were upside down and glared his glowing greens eyes towards them. His face was still cute, but was also menacing.
The two men stared and shivered in fear. Leo walked towards them and looked directly into their eyes. The vines continued to grow and envelope their bodies.
In that moment, a voice rang in his ears. The voice was evil and cruel as it said, "Kill them."
"Kill them. I know you want to. You hate how they touched you, defiled you, and talked to you. You hated that right?"
'Yes. I hated it.'
"Then kill them. Make them suffer, suffocate them with your vines. Make them pay. Kill them!"
The vines chocked and squeezed their bodies, leaving them gasping for air.
"No....please.....I'm sorry...let us....go..please.."
When the man said these words, he regained his senses. The moon and his eyes stopped glowing and the vines let them go. They both fell to the floor and stared at Leo with fear and anxiety in their eyes.
Leo crouched down, "Don't tell anyone what has happened today. This is a threat."
The men nodded then ran away.
Once they were gone, Leo sighed, 'That was scary. Why did that happen? Either way, it was hard to be that intimidating.'
Leo grabbed his bag from the floor, which had fallen earlier, and continued his walk home. His body felt extra exhausted and tired.
If he didn't get home soon, he knew that he could pass out in the streets. Thankfully after a couple more minutes of walking, Leo finally got home.
He closed the door and collapsed on his bed. His eye lids were heavy.
Leo sat straight up and slapped his face. His body felt gross where the men touched him. He shivered at the memory, then hurriedly stripped out of his clothes and went to take a shower.
During his shower, he scrubbed and scrubbed his body, trying to wipe off the feeling.
Finally, he finished his shower and went to bed. He crawled into bed and layed on his side.
Slowly he drifted off to a deep sleep.
