Leo woke up feeling exhausted. His whole body was sore and he had dark circles under his eyes. Even though he got sleep during the night, it wasn't much. Ever since those two men touched him, he felt disgusting and couldn't relax. He finally went to sleep, but he still wasn't calm, and nightmares of the two men doing more than just touching him, made him wake up all throughout the night.
"Ugh, today's gonna be tough," he groaned.
He got out of bed, but his body felt way heavier and slower than usual. He walked over to his bathroom and washed his face with cold water. He said to himself, "You can't let yourself be down. You have to get through today. Just smile and pretend nothing happened."
He walked out and brewed some coffee. The aroma already made him feel a bit better. Once it was down, be gently blew on it, then took a long sip. The hot drink made him feel warm and as if a weight had been lifted. He quickly drank the coffee, got ready, then headed to work.
He walked his normal path and smiled, 'I'm so glad I brought a jacket today. It's cold.'
He kept walking until he finally arrived at the building. He walked in and the heater made the room toasty and warm.
Leo took off his jacket and greeted Ms.Amber. After saying hi, he took the elevator to Coleman's office.
As he entered he saw Coleman already at his desk, he greeted, "Hi, good morning Mr.Coleman."
"Hello Leo, once you've settled in, can you get me some coffee?"
Leo smiled and put down his bag, "Sure."
Once he put down his jacket and bag, he went to the breakout room to make some coffee. He grabbed the usual things and made the coffee. He rubbed his eyes and yawned, even though he had that coffee, he was still a bit tired and couldn't help but yawn.
He waited patiently for the coffee to brew and once it finished, he put in the creamer and carefully carried it back to the office. He opened the door and placed the coffee on Coleman's desk. He walked back and rubbed his eyes once more before turning on his laptop.
Thankfully he didn't have much work to do, he smiled to himself, 'Thank god I don't have to stress myself out with work today.' He thought, then he got back to work.
This morning, Coleman noticed that Leo seemed very tired. As he walked, Leo slouched a bit and his movements were slower. When he saw Leo rubbed his eyes he knew that he didn't get a lot of sleep. He looked closely at Leo and saw the faint dark circles under his eyes.
He asked, "Did you get enough sleep?"
Leo was startled by the question and fidgeted with his fingers under the table, "Um, not really. I had a hard time going to sleep."
"Are you sure you're okay? If you're not feeling up to it, you can take a break in the break out room."
"N-No really I'm fine, really."
Leo was being stubborn to go relax. Coleman sighed as he got up. He walked over to Leo's desk and ruffled Leo's hair. He said, "Go take a break, you have dark circles under you're eyes. Thirty minutes won't hurt."
Leo looked up at him, then said timidly, "O-Okay if you insist."
Coleman retracted his hand and Leo stood up and walked to the door. He left the room with a click of the door and Coleman sighed, 'He's so stubborn.'
He walked back to his desk and sat down then got back to work.
Leo walked out of the room and went back into the breakout room. He sat down at a chair by the window and rested his head on the table. He stared at the window while thinking to himself, 'I really should've gotten more sleep.'
The sun had just risen and and shined brightly while still painting the sky slightly orange and pink. The sun felt nice on his skin and he closed eyes and quickly drifted off to sleep.
Forty minutes had passed and Coleman checked his watch. 'Should I wake him up or let him rest?'
After a moment of wondering, he decided to go check on him.
As he opened the door, he saw a little pleasant surprise. He saw Leo leaned over with his head rested in his folded arms with his eyes closed. He breathed in and out slowly and his back rose slightly each time. He looked so adorable.
Coleman quietly walked over and sat beside him and gazed at his sleeping face.
'He looks so calm and cute,' Coleman wanted to touch Leo's cheek and reached out his hand. Right when his hand was about to touch Leo's face, he stopped. He retracted his hand and placed it on the table.
'Why does seeing him make me do this? I know that I have feelings for him, but this is suffocating. I can't touch him, all I can do is look and observe. I thought I could handle it, but it hurts.'
Coleman grabbed his heart and clicked his tongue. He stood up and gently rubbed Leo's small back.
Leo stirred and slowly opened his eyes. He drowsily lifted his head up to see Coleman's smiling face.
"Ah!" Leo yelped.
"Oh, sorry, did I startle you?"
Leo stuttered, "N-No it's fine. How long did I sleep?"
"Not long. About forty minutes or so."
"Oh, I'm sorry! I should've gotten more sleep last night."
"Don't worry, do you feel any better?"
"Yeah, I feel a bit more awake," Leo said shyly.
Coleman ruffled his hair again, "Come on, you still have some work to do."
Leo nodded and followed Coleman back to his office. They both sat down at their desks and went back to work.
Not long after, Ms.Amber walked into the room carrying a folder.
As she entered she waved at Leo and said, "Hey Leo."
He waved back, "Hey Ms.Amber."
"What is it Stephanie?" Coleman asked.
She smiled, "I was wondering if Leo could take a break on his assistant duties and do a different job for a little while."
"A job?"
"Yes actually," she walked over and handed the file to Coleman, "His name is Antonio Perez and I want Leo to be his manager."
'What!?'
