A voice rang in Leo's head and in his ears as it said coldly, "Oh, are you having fun?"
Leo looked around to see who's voice it was, but no one was there.
"Why are you looking around, no one is there..." it began to say. It chuckled, "It's me."
Leo's head and body froze at the voices words.
"You know, ever since you left, I've taken my time recovering and I've been waiting..."
Leo felt like he was being suffocated and he couldn't breath or gasp for air.
"I've been waiting for the day when I can take over and make you burn..."
"I'll set you a flame like a log, then I'll make you suffer the same fate as that old hunter..."
The voice snickered then laughed. It was silent and subtle at first, then it grew loud, so loud that Leo couldn't hear anything else. He was frozen in fear and his eyes were wide and focussed on the ground.
Leo's hands were clenched in tights fists beads of sweat formed and dropped down his face.
'What...no....this, this....can't be...happening...'
He panicked and couldn't even think straight. With his mind blank and thoughts swirling, he had been completely oblivious to the world and others around him.
He finally came back to his senses when he felt someone shaking him. Leo looked towards his left and saw Sarah sitting there with her hand on Leo's shoulder and looking very concerned.
"Hey, are you okay?"
"...U-Um yeah I'm fine."
"Well, you certainly don't look it," she said, "Why don't you go to the bathroom to wash up."
"Yeah, that sounds like a good idea, where's the bathroom?"
"Turn right and the bathroom is at the end of the hall."
"Thank you."
Leo got up and walked out of the photoshoot room. He followed Sarah's directions and the bathroom was right there at the end of the hall. He walked into the bathroom and placed his hands on the marble sink counter.
His heart was still racing and it took a while before he could calm down. He rinsed his face with the cold water and dried it with a paper towel.
He stared at himself in the mirror and was finally able to calm down.
He closed his eyes and took one more deep breath, but once he opened them, he saw a figure standing behind him.
The figure was about his height and size, but looked like it was made of shadows.
The figure walked stood right next to Leo and placed it's hands on Leo's shoulders. The hands felt cold and made Leo's body shiver at the touch.
The figures face came next to Leo's ear, "Remember my promise to you, I will kill you."
Leo was stunned and didn't move a muscle, 'Promise? What promise was I supposed to remember?'
The figure laughed, then vanished into air without a trace.
Leo regained movement after a minute and checked the clock. He had already been in there for five minutes and decided that he should get back.
He walked back down the hall and reentered the room. He walked over back to his seat with Sarah and started to watch the shoot from the side. Leo and Sarah both talked for a while until Antonio was finished.
The photographer yelled, "Alright everyone, thank you for all your camera work, lighting, and presence here. Also, wonderful work Antonio, you did great. Everyone is excused, have a great day!"
Everyone began putting away the lights and the cameras, then everyone dispersed.
By the entrance, Leo and Antonio were waiting for their driver to arrive.
"Thank you for coming today Leo. This guy can't keep a manager for long so it was nice that you took up the job on such short notice." Sarah thanked.
"No, problem. And don't worry about it, even if he gives me a hard time, I'll make sure to call you."
"You better," she laughed and the two hugged goodbye.
When they separated, the driver pulled up in front of the entrance.
Leo waved goodbye to Sarah and the two got into the backseat of the car.
Antonio turned his gaze back to Leo, "Why did you leave?"
Leo turned to him, "What do you mean?"
"Why did you leave the photoshoot room?"
"I had to go to the bathroom, that's all."
Antonio's expression was sour. 'Is he upset because I left. It was only for a couple of minutes, is he really that upset?'
Leo turned his head and asked, "Are you upset because I left and didn't watch?"
Antonio narrowed his eyes, then turned his head, facing away from Leo, "No, I'm not."
Leo chuckled. Even though Antonio was facing away from him, Leo could still see his face in the reflection of the window.
Antonio's cheeks were slightly pink and his lips were turned into a slight smile.
After a fifteen minute drive, they arrived at the gym. They entered and the man at the front counter recognized Antonio right away. The two seemed to know each other since the man said casually, "Sane as usual."
Antonio smirked, "Yup."
"Room three."
"Thank you."
The gym was obviously very popular. The room was filled with men and women scattered around the area. It also had an abundance of equipment with rows and treadmills, shelves of weights, and much more.
The room smelled like a mixture of sweat and body spray, which was not pleasant, but bearable.
They walked straight, down a hall and went to second door on the left. They entered and there was a man stretching on the floor and doing a warm up.
Leo wasn't surprised however since he knew that Antonio had a personal trainer and he walked over to a bench on the sideline.
The room was very big and was filled with a lot of different equipments. There seemed to be at least one of everything that was in the main gym.
To the left, there was a row of about five chairs lined up against the wall. Leo gladly sat down and pulled out his laptop.
He figured that since he wasn't needed at all during this, he might as well do some extra work on his computer.
Antonio went into the changing room to change into athletic clothes to start his workout.
