Mei Yin thought that her mystery man had a very strong, dark, and dangerous demeanor. Any yet she felt that his cold intentions weren't directed towards her. She felt safe and protected, like no one else could ever touch her. This strange feeling in her heart made Mei Yin get butterflies as her heart skipped a beat. Although she felt flustered, she knew that she had to help the man that was still feeling a little moody because of drunk piece of garbage.
So she tried her best to act normal and swallow down all of her current new feelings. "Thank you Sir. I really don't know what I would have done if you didn't come to help me." Mei Yin knew that she wasn't capable of defending herself, so she truly was grateful for this mystery man's help. He gladly accepted Mei Yin's sincerity but turned her down when she offered to buy him a drink. Although he didn't disclose his reasonings, she understood that he had them.
Li Han wanted to spend more time with his Hazel beauty, but he knew that it wasn't the time. He instead opted to walk her back to herself friends making sure that she was safe. As Li Han turned to walk away, Mei Yin grabbed his sleeve and slowly asked his name. "Wait! I'm really grateful to you for just now... I'm Mei Yin. Can I know your name?" Li Han just gave a small smirk that didn't quite reach his ears. "Han. It's Han."
Mei Yin just smiled at him and nodded as she slowly let him go. Those strange new feelings started attacking her once again as she watched as he walked away from her. She just repeated his name again, letting it comfortably slip out. "Han...Han." He would cross her mind three more times within that hour and six more times that night.
The whole flight back home to China, Mei Yin had these weird feelings in the pit of her stomach that she just couldn't get rid of. She almost felt possessed by it. Mei Yin tried brushing it off like they didn't exist but she knew that was just her lying to herself. After leaving the plane, Mei Yin said bye to Jing Fei and Ming Yu and headed straight to the crewroom. She needed to get a bid packet so that she could see where she did and didn't want to fly.
She also wanted to see where she could get a nice overnight. Mei Yin opened the door and immediately got stopped by another flight attendant named Bo Li Feng. Bo Li Feng is probably one of the funniest people that she has ever met. he is 27 years old and has been with their company for 3 years now. Even though he is her senior, all flight attendants think the same. No one is above anyone when it comes to respect. Everyone is equal and gets paid the same amount. Those that can't adapt will either quit or go into management.
"Mei Yin Mei Yin, big news just came in!" "Hello to you too Li Feng." Li Feng just rolled his eyes and took a deep breath. "Hello is not important right now Mei Yin. We have a new CEO!" Mei Yin's mouth dropped to the floor barely able to form her next sentence. "What do you mean? what about-" "He's gone! The board members kicked Bo Zhe Sheung out!" Li Feng shook Mei Yin as he cut her off.
"I heard that our new CEO is so handsome that one of the board members tried to seduce him right in front of everyone!" "No way! Is she crazy?! He honestly can't be that good looking. At least not enough to put your job on the line like that." "Oh Mei Yin my dear she was fired. Half of the board was fired. Apparently they were caught selling company information. There are so many lawsuits pending that the company will be in court until 2032." Li Feng threw out more information than she could process. But he wasn't finished.
"I heard that we are getting new uniforms as well." "No we are not. Li Feng, just because we get a new CEO doesn't mean that we are getting new uniforms." "Oh come on Mei Yin. It would be amazing to have brand new uniforms. We've been wearing these same uniforms for five whole years. It's time for an update and total redo."
Mei Yin and Li Feng caught up with each other for a little bit more before Mei Yin decided to head home. It's been four long days and she was honestly exhausted. Walking through the airport terminal, Mei Yin saw a familiar silhouette out of the corner of her eye walking towards her. She had been really tired from her trip and didn't feel like interacting with other people so she just ignored it and didn't think much of the figure. And with a shrug, Mei Yin walked through baggage claim.
