Walking through the airport concourse attracting the attention of everyone who looked in his direction, was the man adorned on every single cover of GQ and Forbes Magazine; Li Han. Number one bachelor and top five businessman in the world. Being led by his right hand man Zi Hao, Li Han was on a location tour to visit the crew rooms of every base in his newly acquired airline. The first base on his list was in City G.
This was one of the newest and least cared for base in the entire company and Li Han wanted first hand information on why. He also wanted first hand experience on what the crew experienced so that he knows how to improve not only the relationship with his employees, but how to improve his employees relationships with their own jobs. Being a man of few words, it didn't take long for Zi Hao to read his mind. "According to the layout, it should be on our right Boss." Looking at the locking mechanism on the door, Li Han said one word. "Code."
One step into the crew room and Li Han's face immediately turns sour. Looking around at the lack of humane necessities and crew amenities present, he felt stressed by how much much he had to do. There are well over 2,000 flight attendants and pilots that work out of this airport, and yet you can barely fit a couch in the room. There's an old coffee maker that looks like it hasn't been used in years and a smart TV that can't even be connected to the wifi.
Oh and there is no wifi. "Draft and redesigns. Three days." "Yes Boss." Zi Hao quickly placed a memo in his tablet and got to work. At that very moment, Li Feng walked over to Li Han and started to bombard him with questions. "I'm Liu Li Feng. You aren't a pilot or a flight attendant are you?" When he got no response from Li Han, Li Feng looked to Zi Hao before telling him that his friend was weird.
Zi Hao knew he had to do something to save this dodo bird from unintentionally angering the king and losing his job. Zi Hao had been Li Han's secretary and personal assistant for three years so he quickly learned how not to anger the demon king. "This is CEO Han. He has bought this airline." Li Feng's soul left his body in that very moment. He knew he was done for. "Sir I didn't know. Please forgive me." Li Han nodded his head. It wasn't worth it to him to be so petty.
"Zi Hao, uniforms." Li Han turned and left the room. Li Feng was so scared that he would lose his job that his legs went jelly and he simply dropped to the floor. Zi Hao felt bad for the poor guy, but he had to learn when and when not to open his mouth. Li Feng has surely learned his lesson today. Zi Hao could only sigh and told him to look out for a company email and headed back to the company with Li Han. Zi Hao had a lot of work to do and his CEO was absolutely not making his work any easier.
*Thump* Mei Yin collapsed face first on her bed the second she reached home. It was nothing fancy. Just a one bedroom apartment not too far from the downtown area. It was close to the airport and affordable enough for her to establish and keep saving for her own home. After several failed attempts, Mei Yin finally made her way to the bathroom to shower. She changed into her night clothes and plopped back into bed. Mei Yin was lazily scrolling through her news feed before finally stopping at an article about her company.
'Sunhui Air bought out by Li Group's only heir. Young master Li of Li Group bought the airline for 13.4 million dollars. What's in store for the airline? A new CEO, new branding, and maybe even a new name!' What in the world! Li Feng was right. After finishing the article, Mei Yin didn't know if she should laugh and clap or to cry. Just because a company gets a new head in command, doesn't mean that it's for good. The change could make or break any company no matter how much revenue and profit they have acquired. She put her phone on the charger and let sleep take over.
The very next morning Mei Yin woke up to notifications one after the other. Emails from supervisors, management, and the company's new CEO! The airline is no longer Sunhui Air. All uniforms must be turned in and shall be replaced with fresher uniforms with a new look and more practicality for the people wearing them.
The crew room has been completely remodeled and renovated, there is a separate room to store luggage, and not to mention a place where flight attendants and pilots can peacefully sleep. Equipped with a fully functioning kitchen, places to sit, relax, and check in for flights, the crew room is surely new and improved for the benefit of all. The article was real! Mei Yin is pulled out of her sudden shock when there is a knock at her door. Checking to see if she's presentable enough in her mirror, she quickly finger combs through her hair and answers the door.
