The spell immediately takes hold of everyone presently within the enclosed room, including the couple of people who are hiding under the table right in front of me.
And they are still hiding under there due to their fear. The fear of me.
No one had expected me to challenge the Azure Magic Academy, and honestly, in my eyes, that place is merely a stepping stone. The same can be said for every family within the Walled City and beyond.
Only the Grey family matters, and that is simply because I am Kilian Grey. Alex as well since he is Evan Grey, but it is more due to the quest he was given than anything.
While it does feel like a cliché, considering that I will have to bring my family back to prominent, it isn't that bad a cliché since I would want to establish a power base here amongst other things.
More than that, I am curious to how the Minasian gets eradicated previously. For someone or a group of someone to do so means that Minasian presents a threat to them, and that interests me. Far more than what their magic has allowed me to do.
Silence descends upon the room as the spell dominates their mind. Even though the spell is powered by a Tier 4 Magic Array, the best I can do with it is erasing their memory. And only their recent memory at that.
Still, that is enough, considering that killing them will not stop them from blabbing, as I am not nearly powerful enough to destroy something indestructible as a soul. I should not attempt to do such a thing either due to the Samara Cycle.
At least not until I can fend myself against Gods.
Comparing to silent casting, verbal casting is much stronger. And while it does give away what kind or type of spell I am casting, it is not as bad as casting through incantation. But of course, magic has many languages, so it will be incredibly difficult for any earthbound Minasian to recognize my spell.
It is also difficult for them to resist my spells as well, at least consciously. That is why I labeled Ingrain Hallow as a genius since he can resist magic that is completely alien to him.
And that also makes thing interesting.
Once the spell runs its course, everyone is rendered unconscious. And I repair the room with my ability and then disband the Establishment, allowing anyone to enter or leave the room once more.
I take a rest afterwards, as it takes a lot of focus and concentration to setup a Tier 4 Magic Array when I have only a Mana Sea and my mind to rely upon, and I have set up two of them, one after another.
Furthermore, I also need to stabilize my Mana Sea, as it is not simple to absorb and make use of Innate Mana from others. There are consequences in doing so, but the rewards are well worth it.
Since I can become stronger by assimilate the magic of others in this place, I should focus on that type of magic. I am not well versed in that type of magic, however, so I will need to take a trip into my own mindscape for some recollections.
As such, I close my eyes and exhale deeply, allowing my body and mind to rest while my consciousness enter the labyrinth that is my mindscape.
I head straight to a particular door and enter the Hall of Wisdom beyond.
