Within the Hall of Wisdom, I can recall everything that I have seen or heard before even if I have long forgotten about them for one reason or another. Well, almost everything actually, as there are things that I should not attempt to remember regardless of the situation.
Memories of beings who transcend space and time for example.
And a mere glimpse of their physical form even within a memory contains enough powers to vaporize my current avatar along with the entire Walled City several times over.
Likewise, even if the Ruler of Death is theoretically dead, it can still do a lot of destruction if I attempted to remember what it looks like exactly.
This is likely the same reason to why none of the other Rulers have taken actions yet, as none of them truly wants to destroy the fabric of reality by stepping into the universe physically. Of course, they can still exercise their powers from beyond the scope of the physical and spiritual universe.
And I prefer it that way, as it much easier to deal with their servants. Furthermore, I also do not have the power to harm any of the Rulers.
Speaking of power, I need to recall things that I have purposely forgotten a long time ago. It is mostly to prevent others from reading my mind and learning of things that they should not have.
It only takes me a couple of second within the Hall of Wisdom to remember what I needed to further my current goal. As such, I left the Hall of Wisdom afterwards since it does take a lot of mental strength to remain in there.
After returning to my mindscape, I take a moment to decipher the knowledges that I have regained in my mind, and it is quite a lot to take in even for me.
Good thing that I did not black out, and once a lot of gaps within my understandings of magic are filled in, I know now that Mages is just a general term to describe people who can channel and manipulate any form of mana.
The same can be said for Sorcerers and the likes, and once a person reaches a certain level of magical comprehension, they should find their own path towards the Abyss of Magic and become more than just a simple Mage.
And that is how Mages such as Runemasters, Summoners, Necromancers come into being.
There are many paths to take as a Mage, and while it is possible to attempt all paths, mastering them all will take far too long. It is also unnecessary to master every path of magic as Kilian Grey.
I only need to master one path, and that the Path of Assimilation. Or maybe the Path of Devouring, as that is more suited for this kind of world. The strong eats the weak on this world after all, and I doubt I will run out of idiots to devour to increase my power.
The Path of Devouring it is then, and mastering that will make me a Devourer or Devouring Mage.
As for elemental affinity, it is best if I go with Void, as that element allows me to devour other elements to supplement my own power. It complements the Path of Devouring, as I want to devour all magic.
With my chosen element and path, I begin to compile a Void Devourer Manual. And with that manual, anyone can learn to become a Void Devouring Mage. All they need is time and effort.
