There is no need to intimidate anyone, however. And I am not trying to look for trouble even if troubles tend to find me. More so in this world, where it is the survival of the fittest.
My kind of world, actually.
"I am hungry," I comment as I stop in front of a modest restaurant from its appearance, but like most things in this world where magic is part of everyday life, outward appearance can be deceiving.
Without saying anything further, I enter the restaurant and immediately notice how packed the place is, at least on the ground level. Since it is not even one of the most prominent establishments in town, I can be certain that other restaurants are also as packed if not more.
And I cannot be bother finding a new place to enjoy a meal. Right now, one restaurant is like any other, including the most prominent one. Not to mention that any meal is probably way better than the meal provided at home.
"Welcome to the Red Dragon," a cute girl greets, and she is not the only one who greets the customers from the look of it. "Do you have a reservation?"
I shake my head as a response. "I'm afraid not, but I hope that a reservation will not be necessary."
A small manastone appears in the palm of my hand, and the girl immediately widens her eyes. It is not the manastone that surprises her the most, and she immediately changes her predisposition.
She is not the only one, as Serene and Viola are the same. This is because only Sorcerers pay for things with manastone, as it can only be created by Sorcerers.
I have no idea how Alex manages to get one, but I can certainly duplicate it via the Shop System. From how much it cost, it is more or less equal to a Mana Crystal, and those things are not really that pricey, considering my current Wealth.
"Yes of course, young Master. This way please. May I know your name?" she asks courteously.
I follow her in silence, as there is no need for me to give her my name. And besides, she has not given me hers first before asking for mine. There is also no need to, as she will learn soon enough.
The girl leads me upstairs and into a decent size room. At the center of the room is a table, and I take one of the seats. Serene and Viola take their position behind me while the guards stand outside of the room.
"Will you be dining alone?" the girl questions after a moment.
I eye her. "Of course not, as more people is the merrier. Why don't you two take a seat and have some breakfast with me?"
Serene and Viola freeze up for a moment before responding in unison: "Yes, Master Kilian."
They take their seat on my left and right afterwards, but even so, the table feels incredibly empty due to how empty it is. Despite that, I cannot really call the guards to join, as they are not my servants.
"Bring me the best dishes that you have," I tell the girl. "And if there is some provided entertainment to go with the meal, I will not decline."
"Yes, right away, Master Kilian," the girl responses and hurries out of the room.
