Lucian has no response to that, but he clearly understands what it means to offend a Sorcerer, and as such, he will not harm Viola any further unless he has a death wish.
Unfortunately, he will find another victim as an outlet for his anger and frustration. And he does have a lot of anger and frustration, as nothing has truly gone his way in the past couple of years. If it did, he would not still be loitering around the mansion as an Initiated Sorcerer.
He would have become an Apprentice Sorcerer, and he would be studying magic in earnest.
I cannot be bothered to help protect others from his wrath, as I do not know those would-be victims, and killing Lucian right now would not do me or Alex any good. His death serves no purpose at all, and besides, someone else will just take his place.
Someone always does.
"I also believe that she should not entertain any other guest in the foreseeable future," I point out. "If she continues to do so, it is disrespectful to my Master. This is just merely my opinion, elder brother."
Lucian takes a moment to nod. "Ah yes, I have not thought of that, brother. In that case, she will spend her time attending you, as I know you will not do anything to disrespect your Master. If he ever drops by, he will not have to look far for her."
Great. More baggage. Well, not really, as Viola knows her place just like Serene. And weighing the pros and cons, it is not really a bad thing to have her attending me.
"That is a good suggestion, elder brother, but Viola belongs to big brother Evan, so I think I should get his permission before taking his servant, but I think he would not object, as it is for the greater good, not to mention that you are the one suggesting this idea."
Lucian agrees wholeheartedly, or he appears to be sincere enough.
"If there is nothing else, I will have heading to my room to get ready," I announce, and Lucian is curious why that is so. Of course, I do not need to tell him anything other than I want to head into town for a long overdue visit.
I instruct Serene to take me to my room afterwards, and Viola follows since she is my servant now.
"Viola, is it?" I speak up after entering my room. "Just because you have been favored by my Master, it does not mean I will treat you any different from my other servants, and regardless of whatever my elder brother holds over you, you will not reveal anything to him unless without my permission."
Magneto appears and hovers around the room. Its presence alone strikes fear into Viola, as she knows what a Magical Artefact is. It does not help when the metallic spheres are emanating magical energy, readying to cast a spell.
"This is a gift from Master," I reveal, as Magento encircles Viola, shrouding her in a green glow.
Viola widens her eyes, as all of her pains melt away. Her injuries are completely healed within a short moment, and Magento vanishes afterwards. "Thank you, Seventh Master."
"Refer to me as Master Kilian from now on," I tell her. "And help Serene in packing what I need to stay in town for a few days."
"Yes, Master Kilian," Viola and Serene answer in unison.
