Everyone who has survived until now can sense Magical Power, and because of that, they can certainly feel my aura even if they cannot see it for themselves at the moment. They can once they reached the First Circle.
They are all of the Zeroth Circle currently.
And without an aura of their own, protecting them, mine can be quite deadly. More so if I am actively attacking them. I will refrain from doing so against people who isn't considered an enemy.
Having said that, I am not going to suppress my aura, as it is good to build up tolerance.
The monsters within the Life Zone has not evolved to the point that they can use magic yet, but from my experience, they will soon, and it will be a bloodbath if the Major and her men cannot stand before a hostile aura.
Luckily, monsters who can use magic will only have Magical Aura unlike mine, which has both Magical and Spiritual attributes. More if I have to awaken other types of powers.
"You…" the Major is the first to recover due to her natural higher tolerance. However, she is still feeling like she is facing a predator. "You can teleport now?"
It would be strange if she has not asked about my disappearance.
"Just resting in another dimension," I response with a shrug and focus my aura against her. It is not a direct attack yet, but the pressure is incredible for her, making her sweats profusely. "Also training. It appears I have gained a few levels. Did you not sleep last night, Major? You do not look well."
"I am fine," the Major responses heavily. She is not thinking very clearly due to the magical pressure I am exerting against her. "What. What level are you?"
I chuckle. "Sorry, Major. That is not for you to know, as you have probably aware how important that kind of information is. Shall we get a move on? It is morning now."
The Major takes a deep breath before confirming. She has managed to retain her composure despite me focusing my aura onto her, putting her under intense pressure. That implies she has quite a strong Willpower.
It will only get stronger in the face of danger, and that is a good thing.
I trace out a staircase towards the surface before placing the traced-out ground into my Inventory for safekeeping. The natural light at the top of the staircase expunges the gloomy mood that everyone is feeling.
"Halt!" the Major calls out, preventing the men and civilians from rushing up the staircase. She directs at a couple of men to follow her up the staircase to see what is actually awaits at the top.
I follow them simply because I needed the Major to survive. I am also sure there is nothing dangerous above, or those dangers would have attempt to enter the staircase already.
Like I have predicted, there are no sign of hostiles anywhere. They are probably busy building up their numbers at the moment, as this is the fourth day. Foods have become quite scarce now since people have smarten up.
Once the Major gives the all clear, everyone begins to head towards the military base again.
