For simplicity, I shape the metallic slugs within the Runic Forge into several spheres of equal size. Five to be exact, as that is the number of elementary elementals: Wind, Water, Earth, Fire and Lightning.
Within those spheres housed my Blood Essence, mostly for security. Cannot have my own Magic Tool be used against me in the future. It happened more than once, and I will not allow it to happen again.
I carve patterns outside the spheres for some Runic Enchantment before allowing them to cool down, and once they do, I take them out of the Runic Forge to begin the enchantment.
Due to their small size, I can only inscribe a few runes onto them as enchantment, but for their use, it is good enough. It is actually more than enough, considering most Magic Tools of First Circle Mage do not have any enchantment.
I am of the First Circle even if I have working knowledge way above that. But it is not what I know that matters in the end. It is what I can prove.
The last step is imparting my Spirit upon the Magic Tool. Actually, that is the second last step, as I will have to give it a name. Named weapons can become stronger as well as gaining sentient.
Imparting my Spirit requires Spiritual Energy. Lots and lots of Spiritual Energy. I have plenty thanks to my Soul, and the moment the spheres begun to float into the air, it is done.
With a thought, they float around me before landing into my palm. "I shall call you Magneto."
Because it is cool, and the spheres can function in the same way too. Quite destructive once I improve my control over my Spiritual Power. I cannot reshape them, unfortunately. Not without a much higher Magical Power.
The only thing left is to test them in combat, and I believe I have an opponent, who has been trying to break into my room. The damage to the Headquarter is extensive, I do not think I need to waste money to restore it anymore.
Of course, there is no need to get into a fight with the vines when I can just use the Trade Network to return to the underground chamber. Even though it is not one of my Establishment, the Trade Network allows me to return to a point of origin freely.
The Trade Network isn't used for teleporting around, but I certainly will. There is no reason not to, as I do have some money to spare. It feels somewhat strange that I can waste money like this when I had fight for every penny the first time around.
It does make thing a lot easier.
And I lie about not needing to fight. Combat is the best way to improve my control over Magical Power and Spiritual Power. It also improves my proficiencies, allowing me to reach higher tier much easier.
When all the preparation is done, I disband the Headquarter that is my room, and the instant that I'd done so, the vines rip apart the walls and doors, swarming over me.
A swipe of my Amaterasu, my Katana, instantly engulf them into flames and turn them all into ash. An absurd amount of essences absorbed into the Katana, making me quirk my brow. I guess there is that.
Within the ash, one of the vines surge forwards, and the spheres immediately react, forming a magical barrier, blocking the attack. And that is the reason I have called it a tool rather than a weapon.
