A week had passed already ever since the incident in the town graveyard happened, and yet Aiden was still unconscious.

At that time, they really thought that Aiden was scared to death and died from a heart attack due to excessive anxiety for being left in such a creepy place all by himself in the middle of the night.
It was only when they had confirmed that Aiden was still breathing fine did Clark and the other fraternity boys heaved a sigh of relief.
Boss Jay initially brought Aiden's unconscious body to their fraternity house. But he sent him to the nearby hospital the next day.
He intended to be a good host and let the other party had a good rest before he would let him go.

Boss Jay made it sure that Aiden would be well taken care of.
He even sent him to the best hospital in town and never allowed Aiden to be left alone in the hospital ward
His subordinates, including Clark, took turns just to make sure that there will always be someone who would accompany Aiden in his entire stay at the hospital, day and night
Boss Jay thought to himself that they ought to do as much as that to Aiden since they brought him to this trouble, to begin with.
Aside from that, they also owed him a favor.
After all, they had never seen someone who had been as very cooperative as Aiden was.
They have thought that they would have to bribe some stranger again this year and pay a huge sum just to get someone to play as the sacrificial groom.
Just like what they usually do every year.
Yet Aiden agreed to it readily with just one simple request.
He really did them a huge favor!
It was for that reason that Boss Jay and his fraternity boys were trying their best to at least get even with Aiden.
