Chapter 12 - Elder Xiao Hong

"Insolent," the flawless beauty responses and swings her steel sword in my direction, sending at me a flying blade composed of pure energy. For her to be able to comprehend sword aura with just a normal steel sword means that her swordplay has reached a formidable level.

That is quite impressive for this region of the world.

I have expected nothing less of an elder within the Sword Maiden Sect. I expect the leader herself has reached an even more profound level of swordplay, and that will be her undoing.

The flying energy blade crashes against me and dissipates like an illusion. The force behind the attack still pushes me back several steps, however. I really need to do something about that. Or I will always be batted around by everyone like a fucking yoyo.

"Another Sacred Treasure?" the elder questions and eyes Shen He, who bows courteously. He knows when he is outmatched, and he is quick to find a path towards his own survival. "That emblem. You're the Headmaster of the Culinary School. Why do you trespass into our sect?"

"You should be asking me instead, esteemed Elder Xiao Hong," I speak up since Shen He is seeking for my guidance. "As for how I know your name… I have heard about your supreme beauty, and I cannot really hold back my desire, especially when there is a flawless pearl right in front of me."

"Hmph." Elder Xiao Hong responses. "A lowly monkey wants to befriend a heavenly swan. Know your place, mortal. Leave your sacred items behind as well as one of your arms, and I will allow you to keep your life."

I narrow my eyes at that. The high and mighty attitude is kind of pissing me off. "Alright. Since you are being a bitch, I will just get straight to the point. Prostate before me, and I might save your miserable life. Give me back the wind stone, and I might not raze your puny sect to the ground."

The last bit is for their leader, who might or might not be listening in on the conversation. In any case, I have made my request clear. Now it is their turn.

Everyone is utterly shocked. Headmaster Shen He almost faints. Elder Xiao Hong could barely contain her anger. That somehow makes her hotter. Probably because it gives emotions to her expressionless face.

"You insolent monkey! Die!" Elder Xiao Hong calls out as her aura explodes, permutating the area and striking fear into everyone. Everyone except me since I am not sensitive to any form of energy. Unless that energy could physically harm me.

Before Elder Xiao Hong could launch a deadly strike against me, probably beheading my head without hesitation, I hastily raise my hand and speak up.

"I do wonder how you have been sleeping lately, Elder Xiao Hong? Waking up every hour with searing sweats much?"

Elder Xiao Hong practically freezes up. Her beautiful expression returns as she purses her full lips, very slowly. "How did you know that?"

"Yeah. How did I know that?" I question in ignorance. "How did I know that it is a side effect for those who practice Maiden Sword Art Manual? How did I know it always happens after the 12th steps? How did I know that if you do not ascend to the Spiritual Realm soon, you will die the most painful death?"

The last part strikes fear into Elder Xiao Hong. I am going to keep calling her an elder despite her very youthful appearance. This is because she is practically about 150 years old. Still a baby when compare to me, however.

Everyone is a baby compare to me. Make me really think about my age. For like a second. It is not that depressing since I am practically immortal. Was immortal. Now mortal thanks to my doing.

"Oh. I also know that you are in pain right now. Like someone take a knife and stab through your chest repeatedly, especially when you channel your Qi," I point out. It is quite specific, and there is no doubt in her mind that I obviously know my shit.

"Watch him," Elder Xiao Hong orders the guard dogs and then grabs me before flying deeper into the valley. She obviously wants to talk to me alone and away from prying eyes. Not that I mind, especially when I take the chance to fondle her.

I mean grabbing onto her incredible feminine and sexy body just in case she decides to drop me to my death. Nice hips and waist. Nice ass. Nice fragrant too.

She obviously notices my lecherous hands, and in response, she throws me against the ground before sending out countless of white cloths from her sleeves, binding me and stringing me up.

"You really are a lecherous monkey," Elder Xiao Hong speaks after regaining her composure. "Now tell me. How did you know about the side effect of practicing Maiden Sword Art Manual? No one outside the sect should know about it, especially a man."

"What? Who said a man cannot practice that swordplay? As long as he is willing to castrate himself, it will be fine to practice it," I response.

"Castrate… so that is a possible method." Elder Xiao Hong eyes me. "You have not answered me, lustful monkey."

"Do I really look like a monkey?" I question before shrugging. It is not like I have not been called a lot worse before. "Do you believe me that I know the creator of the swordplay?"

"You know the founder? That is impossible. The founder has been gone for more than a million years," Elder Xiao Hong reveals. She did not say the founder is dead, so that means the founder has surpassed mortality.

Good. It gives me a chance to teach the bitch not to steal my shit while I am sleeping.

"If you don't believe me, then try to circulate your Qi in the opposite direction then pushing it upwards through your meridians while inhaling deeply before exhaling. Repeat if for exactly three times. Once you are done, circulate your Qi in…" I tell her. "… and then exhale fully."

With some hesitation, Elder Xiao Hong follows my instruction. The moment she exhales, her body feels a lot lighter. Her sharp stabbing pain in her chest has also diminishes greatly.

"This is…" Elder Xiao Hong is astonished. Her expression returns to normal fairly fast. "Who are you?"

"Just someone who wants the wind stone back," I response. "You can call me Shin."

The wind stone is important for my cultivation. It is one of the five elemental stones that I required to establish my foundations. I have collected all the elementary elemental stones at a great cost, but the fuckers have stolen all of them.

Good thing I notice that the Valley of the Wind is formed unnatural from the history books.

And there is only one item in all the realms that have the power to alter the climate.

"Shin, is it? I believe that you know the founder in some form," Elder Xiao Hong acknowledges. "Only the founder knows the full secret to the Maiden Sword Art Manual."

"Not true," I snort. "I know everything there is to know about the Maiden Sword Art Manual, including the missing chapters. It is because of those chapters that you are restless every night. It is because of those chapters that none of the elders have lived pass 150 years of age regardless of their cultivation."

Elder Xiao Hong is astonished since I am right. No one within the sect has lived pass that age regardless of their cultivation. However, reaching the Spiritual Realm grants an alternate mean of living on even with the curse.

"Those chapters," Elder Xiao Hong requests, realizing quickly that the methods I have just taught her must be from those missing chapters. "What do you want for them?"

"I already tell you what I want," I answer.

"You dare demand that I prostrate before you?" Elder Xiao Hong question. Fury flashes in her eyes for just a moment.

"You will prostrate before me and you will mean it," I response. "Until then. I am going to take a short nap. When I wake up, I expect you to be ready to grovel at my feet."

"You! I will rip those chapters right out of your mind," Elder Xiao Hong announces and grabs my head, channeling her energy in preparation for the mind incursion. However, before she could, she staggers back and spat out bloods. She lost balance afterwards as she is severely injured internally.

"Ah yeah. Remember the method I have just taught you. I kind of forgot to mention that you shouldn't channel your Qi, or you will destroy your circulations," I point out with a smile.

A simple smile. Enough to strike the fear of me into her.
