Chapter 13 - Pure Yin Physique

I let out a yawn, preparing to snooze for a bit like I have said since I am just a normal person now, and I do need my beauty sleep to keep my mind and body in tiptop condition. Only my body, actually.

My mind is always in tiptop shape for a real reason.

It is also quite warm and comfy, being wrapped up in many layers of fine silky fabrics and being strung up here like this. Also, the unique fragrant from the fabrics is very pleasant. It reminds me of sleeping on a pile of bodies.

A pile of naked and steamy body. Good times.

I do miss those times after all the constant battles, deaths and destructions. My only regret at the end is not being able to spend more times with all of my girls before they all inevitably left me.

Therefore, this time around, I will not repeat the same mistake. I will also have my harem of heavenly-defying beauties like I was promised, whether they are willing or not. For now, I can always dream.

And dream, I shall. Hahaha!

Elder Xiao Hong, on the other hand, swallows her fears and angers. She quickly drops down and enters a meditated position in order to focus her inner energy, forcing it through her severed meridians.

She is using brute force to reconnect them. Considering that the connections between those meridians have not been severed for long, it should be possible. But not without a great cost to her future.

Unfortunately for Elder Xiao Hong, that method would have worked in normal circumstances, and the amount of bloods she throws up all over the ground tells her that using brute force would only further cripple her cultivation.

I should have warned her about that. Cultivating inner energy isn't exactly straight forwards. Practicing the wrong methods will result in the death of the cultivator. Or worse, becoming a cripple.

Insanity is also in the realm of possibilities. Worst kind of foe to fight against.

Only true prodigy can learn how to cultivate their inner energy without any guidance or help, and that is why having a master or teacher is so important. Having access to the right cultivation manual is also important.

This is simply because everyone physique is slightly different. Thanks to my Eyes of the Beholder, I can discern anyone's physique accurately, thus, allowing me to design the most perfect cultivation method for them.

Same reason that I can cripple Elder Xiao Hong with ease.

There are no such things as the missing chapters within the Maiden Sword Arts Manual. The one that Elder Xiao Hong and her sect-sisters practice, unknowingly killing themselves in the end.

The reason that everyone who practice the Maiden Sword Arts Manual suffers the same fate is simply because they do not meet the prerequisites. Pure Yin Physique is a must to practice any of the Maiden Arts.

That is why they are called Maiden Arts. I have named them that way. Maiden Sword Arts is only one volume of the entire collection. No idea where the rest of the manuals are at the moment, sadly.

In any case, Elder Xiao Hong does not have a Pure Yin Physique since having that physique is incredibly rare. As that is the case, practicing Maiden Sword Arts Manual causes her foundation to continuously accumulate Yin-attribute energy, causing an imbalance.

A deadly imbalance, as every cultivator seeks a perfect balance of yin and yang. Only those with unique circumstances seek otherwise.

Once the buildup of Yin energy eventually reaches a critical point, her cultivated foundations won't be able to contain it any further, and it will tear through her body, destroying all of her energy pathways and meridians. She would die the most painful death.

That is her fate. The fate of all those who practice Maiden Arts without my actual guidance. There is a fucking reason I discard those manuals. Well, several reasons, actually.

I can go into details, but Elder Xiao Hong is crawling towards me. She has no other choice, considering her attempt to fix herself just cripple her body. She is probably in a lot of pain, and if she does not get help soon, she will bleed to death.

"S-Senior Shin. Please. Please help me. I don't want to die," the frightened beauty desperately pleads as her hand reaches my feet.

"Hmm…?" I murmur and open one of my eyes lazily. I look down at the woman with an expressionless face. "I thought I heard an insect calling for help."

"Yes… yes… please help this insect… and it will be forever grateful," Insect Xiao Hong prostates as best as she could. Bloods constantly oozes out the corner of her lips, running down her chin and splattering her white robe.

I yawn and squirm a little in my binding. I could break out any time, but I want to enjoy this moment a little longer. "I was having a good dream too. Hmm… I told you that you will have to prostate before me and meant it. If you doubt me again, your end will be far worst than your current fate."

Insect Xiao Hong could not help but tremble. She understands one thing in this moment. I can probably end her as easily as breathing. I have not lifted a single finger throughout the whole time. She actually did everything to herself, from the moment she practices the Sword Arts.

"Yes. I will never doubt your words again, Senior Shin. Please help me," Insect Xiao Hong pleads once more.

"Hmm… why? Who are you to me, exactly? And I recall that you wanted me to leave one of my arms behind. I need those arms for beating my junior, you know," I comment, making Insect Xiao Hong sinks even lower. "Of course, if you accept my offer, I will take care of you."

"Your offer… I… accept," Insect Xiao Hong agrees with hesitation. "Please beat this junior for being so blind."

I chuckle. "I did not mean that sort of beating. Junior Xiao Hong. I think I will just call you Xiao Hong or simply Hong or Hong-chan when we are alone together. And you can call me Master."

Xiao Hong did not understand what the suffix meant, but in the context, it probably meant junior. She agrees to my suggestion, not that she has a choice in the matter.

"Alrighty, Hong-chan," I address her and cut out of the binding. "Strip, so this master of yours can help you feel all better."
