'All those memories are gone' what could he possibly mean,I mean as far as I know we've never met until a couple days ago so what could he be talking about?! " What memories?" chikashi stares at me blankly blinking " Ah forget I said anything I'm just going on about nothing" Chikashi tries to pick himself up to straighten out and stretch while I'm debating on to whether question him more or leave it as is. " No , your going to explain what you just said to me! How can you just say that and immediately brush it off as if you never said it in the first place?!" I feel like I'm everywhere in his face when I tell him off However, it wasn't a good choice to say that out of nowhere Without giving me some detail into it. "Look I'm not trying to leave you in the dark but I just think it's a bit to dramatic or what's the word cringy to say it I guess. But if you want to know that bad I guess I'll keep you out of the dark starting today." I sit myself down,cross my legs,make a sassy face and wait for him to speak Which makes him sigh with an unpleasant look " Do you remember anything from when you were 15 at all?" I think for awhile but can't find him in any situation from when I was 15 " Well yeah I remember having a birthday, being a simple teenager,and having friends." I could feel that what I said wasn't the answer he was hoping for which made me curious to what he is not saying " Right.. so when you were 15 you had a little accident that left you with a broken skull.. I was there when it happend...in fact I also have a scar from that day trying to save you. It was a month before birthday when it happened..we decided to throw your party earlier because your parents were going on a business trip together however when we were getting the preparations ready you had come home early and I needed to distract you so I pushed you back outside,showed you the big tree outside your house and told you that you couldn't climb up it..you took the challenge. You climbed up the tree then stood on top of a branch...." chikashi stops for awhile grabbing his sake taking shots then continuing " You stood on top of the tree branch until it snapped..you were upside down dangling from the tree.. I left to go get the ladder on the other side and when I came back you were already complaining about the flow of blood that was going in your head... however that didn't last because before I know it that branch that was holding you upside down broke and you fell down head first." The first thing that came to my mind was that he was lying but then again.."how did you get a scar from trying to save me?" chikashi realized he left that part out " I never thought it was important because.. well when I was about to run to your side the ladder got ahold of my finger..ah its embarrassing..I pulled my finger with the ladder to get out and ended up with the ladder on top of me knocking me out.." I can't seem to laugh or be concerned about myself for a second after hearing that "You not only got knocked out by a ladder but you also failed to catch me and have a scar from the same ladder that knocked you out...I don't know if I should laugh or be serious about this?!" Chikashi looks at me as if I were insane while I giggle uncontrollably in the background "Most people would be upset hana.." I giggle a bit more until I wipe my tears to speak"okay I know it wasn't that funny but still in all seriousness why would you keep this from me? And how long was I in the hospital?" I pour myself some sake interested in hearing on what he has to say " Well after that I woke up in a large hospital room with a curtin in between..you were on the other side still out of it. Your parents and mine were in the room waiting for you to wake up however, a doctor walked in being clear that you were gonna be in a coma possibly for a year which of course shocked everyone." He then starts rubbing his head as if he's getting a headache but continues anyway " But after a few weeks you finally wake up without any memory of what happened that day..say do you remember waking up in the hospital with your parents by your side saying that you just tripped over the counter?" I began to think about what he said but couldn't think straight so I shake my head" Ah well anyway your birthday was coming up and we agreed to keep our distance for awhile.." I sigh getting up then offer my hand to help him up which he accepts "Well thank you for telling me this I appreciate it but I don't think it was such a big deal honestly but oh well." Chikashi stares at me for awhile with a frown which confuses me a bit " so those memories we had as young teenagers was nothing?!" His yells catch me off guard a little so I back up a tiny bit "Look I'm sorry I don't have those memories that you remember,but its not my fault for what happened... I-" Chikashi cuts in which doesn't surprise me whatsoever" So it's my fault that I was a dumb teenager?! Blame it all on me right!?" He gets closer while yelling at me " Get away from be!" I shove him away and run towards the door leaving him by himself in his house.
