A few days have passed, but Sia only returned now. They have announced that the next trial will happen in two days, and she has only those time to prepare.
She was said to report to King Ludovic of what happened, and unfortunately, her mother is still sick.
After I practiced the dance that Prince Forest taught me, I just noticed that it was snowing outside. The white soft yet cold specks fall from the could sky.
Winter's here.
The maids and I rushed to the windows to watch the first snowfall, but the first thought that came to my mind was him.
I want to see Prince Forest during my first snowfall in this world.
I hopped excitingly to the door and I was even about to be stopped by Regin, but I ran and used my power.
I decided I'll tell Prince Forest everything that I know. If I want to help him, I'll have to tell every bit of the words I found out.
I can't hide it forever. I know that they're only trying to protect me, and yes, also as bait for my father, but that's not the danger right now. It's my shameful uncle.
Regin wouldn't catch me now, I was in the connecting hall when I saw Sia walking towards me.
I stopped, her eyes were puffy, and she looks disturbed. She stared at me, and the moment she met my eyes, she ran towards me and leaned for a tight embrace.
She cried so hard, and as I was patting her back, but I noticed that vines suddenly appeared from the ground, then they wrapped the locks on the doors, both the mansion and castle's.
"Sia, what's happening?" I asked, but she didn't speak.
She just continued crying, and crying, until my heart grew heavy. She's devastated. What happened to her?
"I'm so sorry," she wailed, "I'm so sorry," she repeated and repeated until I felt that something was not god.
I tried to pull her away, but vines were tied on my feet, and she didn't let me go.
"Sia, what are you doing?"
She raised her head, and I just had my heartbroken. Sia's a mess.
"Sorry, Amelia. If I don't do it, he'll kill my mother and Rin," she whispered, and before I know it, I saw black specks of dust thrown to me by a vine.
"I don't want to do it, but I have to," I heard Sia's faint voice echoes as my vision spirals into darkness, "It's King Sorin and your mother."
And as I feel my body fall down, everything went silent, and blank.

I woke up from the sound of my alarm, ringing right next to my ears. I groaned and opened my eyes, only to be blinded by the light on my phone. I was about to snooze it, but the time woke my spirits up.
"I'm late," I shouted and ran to the shower, but the suddenly stand made my head hurt, and what's worst, I have a wound on my head. "Where did I get this?" I whispered, but I brushed it off and proceeded for a shower.
I must've gotten it somewhere, but it looks bad. Yet I have bandages on, that means I already had it treated, but when?
When I took off my clothes, I noticed that I was wearing a necklace I don't know where I got. It looks expensive and majestic even if it looks simple.
It has a crescent moon hole in the middle of the violet circle pendant.
Did someone give this to me?
And when the hell did I colored my hair red-orange?
I stood in front of the mirror for a few minutes, questioning everything. But the time knock me off of my thoughts and sent me rushing.
"Nice hair," one of my blockmates said as he passes by me.
I wore a beanie since I wasn't able to wash my hoodie yesterday. I was busy watching anime the whole day and ended up getting late today and voila, when I woke up, I hurt my head, dyed my hair, and wears a necklace.
"Wow, a dress?" An acquaintance smiled at me as we both go upstairs.
I don't know but the moment I opened my closet, I looked for a dress. I just felt like I'll be more comfortable with it today. But I swear to apples, I never wore one except when I have to.
"Yeah, I'm a girl for today," I smiled back at her before we part ways.
"How's the anime marathon yesterday?" My friend asks as I sit down beside her. "And you rock red hair, by the way. Not everyone looks good with that fiery color."
I just sighed at her and rested on the desk, I feel so tired for some reason. And I even noticed some bruises on my feet as if I was tied.
I wonder when my father will give me money, I have to buy the exclusive figurine tomorrow, or else, it'll be sold out.
That old man will never show himself for all eternity. I don't even know whether I have a father.
"Yo, wanna hang out with us," another block mate asks while we go out of the room for a vacant time.
He's asking nicely, and I know they're good. This is the third time they've asked me, but I will say no for the third time too.
I shook my head, "I have to go somewhere."
Lies, I just don't like hanging out with people that much. I'd rather go home for the vacant time and go back to the university than force myself to talk.
I run away before they can even tell me where they're planning to go. Ha, all I do is run away when I got a problem.
But why do I feel like something's wrong? Something's missing.
Even when I got to watch an anime, my mind suddenly wanders off somewhere.
It's been a week, and the feeling still grows.
Why do I want to meet someone I don't know. I want to run and find that person, but where?
I was up all night, thinking about what might've happened to me.
Was I kidnapped and they've done something? Am I suffering from amnesia? Did someone drug me? What?
As I roll around the bed, I heard a noise outside my room.
I went to check out who it was but, there was no one. Maybe it's because I'm freaking sleep deprived.
I was about to go back to my room when I passed by the basement's door.
I forgot that I wanted to check something inside. I was planning to open the box next father's black and gold bow and arrows. I thought maybe I can have a treasure hidden inside that I can sell.
I opened the lights and went down, the dust made me cough harshly until my nose started dripping. I knew it, I should've worn a mask.
It's been years since I last went here. I just feel like this place is supposed to be kept secret that's why I rarely enter.
I saw the bow and arrows displayed on the walls, then suddenly, my head started to hurt.
I should've gone to a doctor to have this checked. I'll do it tomorrow after class.
I just hate paying for the bills especially when my father hasn't given me anything for a month.
I rummage through the pieces of furniture that were on top of the box and even bruised my arm because of a chair. After a few pulls and carrying of things, I managed to get to the box.
I opened it and saw clothes that I think belong to my mother. Blouses, dresses, and a shawl.
She looks taller than me, basing on her dresses.
I was too young to remember what she looks like, and father wasn't here to tell me stories about her.
And I don't even remember what her name is.
I folded the clothes and put them on top of the chair that hurt me, then I went through some pieces of jewelry that must've belonged to her as well.
Then, I saw baby clothes. Are these mine?
They look brand new though, even if years have passed, it looks unworn. Some are even on its packages still.
Was I supposed to have a baby sibling?
I looked through still while asking myself, and there I saw a sketch.
From what I know mother loved drawing. There were a few papers, piled one after another.
The first one I saw was a sketch of a bird. Followed by a car. Then, a building.
But the next ones strangled my neck. It made me feel as if I was floating and I can't breathe.
A beautiful woman with curly hair was drawn, and then I suddenly remembered her name, Queen Elena.
Memories that were buried arose.
The next sketch was me when I was younger, but my hands were burning with fire.
The old me that was long forgotten came back from the dead.
It was my father's sketch that I saw next, he was using the bow and arrow that was displayed here.
A trial that I had taken was replayed.
Then, an image of a young boy, similar to Queen Elena, was the last one.
A love that was frozen, melted into tears.
"Forest," I whispered.
I was left in a blank state, confused about everything. I stood up, closed the basement and was about to enter my room when I saw a young lady standing in my room.
Her violet hair was the first thing you'll notice.
"Who are you?" I asked as I step backward.
"Your family is waiting, Amelia, let's go back, " she said with a low voice.
