Pauline came back to her office and slumped on her chair. After two months, Mr. Grim came back from the dead to disturb her again. She massaged her temple. Mr. Grim knew exactly how to make her feel so... what? She didn't know what exactly she felt after reading his messages. There was no pinpoint feeling to describe how she would feel.
Pauline jumped as Min Ji came to her office. Min Ji handed her a brown paper and Pauline slowly took it from her hands, eyeing it curiously.
"Mr. Park Hoon Shik informed me to give you this. It's the herbal that you actually asked him for your migraine," Min Ji informed.
She nodded in understanding. "Oh, okay. Thanks."
Min Ji turned her heels out of her office when she called her again.
"Yes, Miss Pauline?"
Pauline looked at her timidly but she wanted to ask her. She badly wanted to know her answer.
"I have a friend. She's receiving anonymous letters from a person telling his undying feelings for her," she gulped, hoping Min Ji wouldn't get the jess of her question. "My friend was so confused if that guy was serious or just making fun of her. My friend wanted to know his identity but the guy was so afraid of her, leaving her confused even more. So, in your opinion, what would you do if you were her?"
"I'm not going to let him go," Min Ji answered, unblinking.
"What? You would take him seriously?"
She nodded. "A guy who writes a letter to a girl he loves is one of a kind of guy. It only means that the guy was serious and sincere on his feelings towards her. The part you mentioned that he's afraid of unveiling his identity only means one thing."
Pauline gulped. "What?"
Min Ji smiled. "That guy must be head over heels in love with your friend and he's too damn afraid that your friend might reject him. It would crush his heart if ever the girl would turn him down."
"But rejection is part of loving, isn't it? He must endure it," Pauline reasoned out.
"That's exactly why that guy didn't want to reveal himself to her. He wanted to pursue her by giving her letters anonymously and make her fall in love with him without his identity revealed," Min Ji chuckled. "If I were that girl, I'd easily be fell for him. That guy exactly knew how to woo a girl."
"Then, he's fooling her."
Min Ji looked directly in her eyes. "You'll know by your heart if a guy is fooling you or not. Good day, Miss Pauline."
Pauline parted her lips to protest but Min Ji was already outside in her office. She sighed heavily and leaned her back to her chair, thinking about him again.
Mr. Grim was head over heels in love with her.
A smile escaped from Pauline's lips.

Pauline stared at her phone with Mr. Grim's number on the display. She was debating whether to call him or just drop it off. The last time she called him, he immediately had gotten ridden his number.
She sighed to release the tension from her body and made her decision. Pauline pressed his number and put her phone to her ear, waiting. Her pulse quickened when it rang and her breath stopped when it connected to the other line. She gulped, unable to hide her excitement and fear at the same time.
"Mr. Grim?"
No response.
"Mr. Grim?"
Still, no response.
Her voice became urgent, afraid she might lose him. "Why won't you talk to me? Are you really that afraid I might know you?"
She could feel his heavy breathing on the other line, Pauline knew he was listening to her.
"I don't know what your purpose on giving me those letters. I don't know whether to believe in your words or not but please if you're trying to mock or fool me out of your boredom, please just stop," Tears welled up on her eyes. "I'm not a player, Mr. Grim. So stop this game of yours and get on in our lives."
Thinking about Mr. Grim playing on her crushed her. Tears already flowed in her eyes and stopped herself to make a sob, she wouldn't want him to know how he greatly affected her.
"It's driving me crazy. I can't get on in my life because you keep appearing into my mind. I hate this feeling," she ranted. "I just want you to stop this. I'm begging you, Mr. Grim."
She drew a deep breath. "I think – "
Her phone vibrated and the line went disconnected. She stared at her phone in disbelief. What happened?
She pressed the screen desperately to connect to the other line but it wouldn't turn on. She cursed under her breath. The phone went dead. Pauline forgot to charge her phone.
Pauline just laid her back to the bed and sighed. At least, she was able to talk to him on the phone albeit his silence towards her.
Damn, I think I've fallen to that bastard.
