Pauline was groggy as she stood up when she heard her doorbell rang. She looked at her desk clock and saw it was five o' clock in the morning. She scowled.
Who on earth is the person who wake me up in this kind of hour?
When she reached at her door, she wildly opened it and saw nothing but a big box on her feet. She frowned. "What's this?"
She reached the box on her feet and laid it to the living room. Pauline examined the box side by side when her eyes landed at the paper on top of it. Her grogginess dissipated and her heart quickened when she saw his familiar writing on it.
Dear Miss Pauline,
Open it and find the answer you're looking for.
Mr. Grim
Her hands trembled as she loosened the ribbon wrapped around the box. She opened the lid of the box and saw a big pink teddy bear with a blue box attached to the bear's chest. Pauline raised the teddy bear and gently removed the blue box. Her breath hiked up when she saw what was inside.
It was a silver necklace with a heart pendant on it. It was simple yet it glowed elegance and it was given by Mr. Grim just for her.
She could feel the lumped of her throat as she gazed at the beautiful necklace. She recalled Mr. Grim's words earlier. Maybe he was telling her the truth. It was a hidden message that telling her how sincere he was for her. That he was head over heels in love with her. Thinking about it brought happiness to Pauline's heart.
My heart is in great danger. God help me.

Pauline walked to her office and Min Ji suddenly stood up to greet her.
"Good day, Miss Pauline. There's a white envelope in your desk. There's no recipient written who sent the letter but I think it's important for you."
"You should have opened it, Min Ji," Pauline suggested.
Min Ji's eyes glinted mischievously and suppressed a smile. "I don't think so, Miss Pauline. Too private to open it."
Pauline was about to ask her but Min Ji walked away from her and gone to her station. Pauline just frowned at her in wonder.
What is she up to?
Pauline just shook her head and entered her office. She went immediately to her desk and got the envelope that Min Ji told her about. Her pulse quickened as she recognized the familiar hand writing written outside the envelope. Mr. Grim never failed to make her heart squeezed in delight. Pauline delicately opened his letter and read.
Dear Miss Pauline,
You told me I was playing at you? Here's my answer:
No, I'm not playing with you and your heart. I, too, not a player, My Cherie. I'm very serious about you and even if I have to move mountains to express how deeply I am to you, I will do it because that's my heart is telling me to do so.
I can't help but being crushed by your words when you told me to stop giving you letters two months ago. I just wanted to show how serious I am to you but I knew that you already reached to your boiling point and get irritated by it so I stopped sending you letters for your sake.
But my feelings for you grew deeper and I don't even know if I'm able to rise again.
Each day was a torture. Seeing you passed at any area made my heart squeezed in pain. There comes the point when I just want to grab you in my arms and hold you forever but I know it's a selfish act. I have to wait for your heart to open just so I can enter it and be a prisoner of your heart, forever.
You begged last night to stop me from this madness? I'm sorry, my love but it's like putting an end to my heart. I can't stop loving you. I just can't.
You want to know the truth? Here's the truth:
I am deeply, madly and head over heels in love with you. I'm only yours and no one can replace you to my heart, my love.
I'm deeply into you.
If being in love you is a crime, My Cherie...
...then, I'm guilty.
Prisoner,
Mr. Grim
Pauline unconsciously raised her hand towards her neck where the silver necklace dangled around it and slowly caressed it. She closed her eyes and listened to the beating of her heart. It was always the same.
I, too, Mr. Grim.
