The following day, Quint had awoken in his room. His eyes opened and stared at the ceiling, thinking about what's to come today.
"Who am I facing? Am I strong enough? What if I fall to protect everyone?" pondered Quint.
He got out of bed and looked at his room, from the blue walls to the furniture that filled it. His gaze shifted to the gray carpeted floor as heard a loud, familiar sound. He looked down and saw Lucas sleeping wildly on the floor.
Quint chuckled and said "I know that snore from anywhere."
His expression had turned more serious as he thought to himself, "Something must've happened at his house last night."
Quint moved silently about the room, gathering his clothes to get dressed. He opened up his dresser and grabbed a red t-shirt and black sweatpants. He got dressed and went down to grab breakfast.
Shay was already down there eating a bowl of cereal. This was a clear indicator that Mary was not home.
"No home cooked meal this morning," said Shay.
"I see! I was hoping to have mom's breakfast this morning since we haven't had it in two months," replied Quint with a disappointed look.
"At least she left a note this time," said Shay while pointing at the note on the granite counter.
Quint walked over to the counter and read the note:
GONE TO A CONFERENCE.
I'LL RETURN TOMORROW AFTERNOON.
I LEFT MONEY FOR FOOD AND
OTHER THINGS ON THE COUNTER.
LOVE YOU GUYS!
STAY SAFE.
Lucas entered the kitchen and began raiding the fridge.
"Did you sleep well snore monster?" said Quint while laughing and remembering what he looked like a few minutes ago.
"I slept great! Atleast I wasn't saying Simone's name all night. What exactly were you dreaming about?" retorted Lucas while making a suspicious face and then laughing.
Quint looked embarrassed and tried to recall what he had dreamt about last night.
"That gotta sting!" said Shay excitedly while enjoying the look on her brother's face.
The doorbell rang.

"Master Tupp, have you been able to decipher the incantations on the spear?" asked the small blue demon.
A large, red demon shaped like a minotaur with two horns on his forehead, yellow eyes turned and replied with, "It was harder than I expected, but I have deciphered it. Now the Four Imperials will reign supreme under the Demon King."
A humanoid demon flickered into the room and grabbed the small, blue demon and held him up.
"Are you bothering the master again, Niko?" asked the humanoid demon.
"Um, um, um, no! I just wanted t-to know w-w-when we're going to invade the city, Lee!" replied Niko while trembling.
"Put the little demon down, Lee. His power is important to the master," said a demon draped in animal furs.
"Awwww...Feng, why must you always ruin my fun?" replied Lee as he dropped Niko and walked away.
"Thanks, Feng!" said Niko.
"Don't thank me. I only care because you're a useful tool to the master. I may kill you myself if the master ever decided that he doesn't need you anymore," stated Feng with a cold tone.

Quint opened the door and to his surprise it was Simone who had rung the doorbell.
"Hey Quint! Can I come in?" asked Simone.
"Ummmm... Yea. Come in," said Quint as he motioned her in.
Simone smiled and walked into the house. She took notice of all of the photos around and happened upon a photo of the whole family. Mary and John stood in the back while Quint and Shay stood in front of them.
"You were a cute kid," mentioned Simone, "That's one big smile!"
Quint blushed and thanked her for the comment. They both went into the kitchen and joined Lucas and Shay in eating cereal.
After they finished eating, Ariel appeared before them. "The Four Imperials have already begun they're first wave of attack on the city! Find them and kill them!"
"Damn! Already! I thought we had more time!" said Lucas.
They all began to sense the demon energies spread throughout the city. They jumped out of there seats! They haven't felt demon energy that was this potent before. When they realized this, they all smiled. Ariel looked at them confused and then she analyzed their spirit power.
"They're all stronger than the strongest demon in the city! They achieved this much of a power boost in two months? I wouldn't believe it if I didn't see it for myself," thought Ariel.
"Go now! Hunt the demons!" commanded Ariel.
They all ran out the door at full speed, each heading to a separate corner of the city. They knew that they had certain victory!

In the suburban area, Niko had opened a portal into a family's home. He had bound the family hands and feet together.
"It's lunch time!" sang Niko while dancing around the family.
The mother screamed out loud. Niko became enraged and smacked her, causing her to get knocked down to her side. Niko took notice to the woman's body and got excited and started salivating. The woman saw the look in his eyes and knew what he was thinking. She started to swim away from the demon. The children cried out because their mother had been attacked. They're father struggled to free himself in order to protect his wife, but to no avail. Niko grabbed the woman and ripped off her shirt, exposing her bra. Niko licked his lips as he reached for the woman's breasts. He fondled her slowly. The woman was so afraid and was disgusted by the feel of his clammy skin and sharp needs caressing her. Niko turned the woman around, making her get on her hands feet. He slashed the pants off! The woman is now I'm her bra and panties. The children look in horror from what they were witnessing. Her husband's rage had turned into sorrow because he was utterly helpless and could only watch as his wife is violated.
"Heh Heh Hehehehe!" laughed Niko as he licked the woman's leg and said, "You know what comes next!"
Lucas came bursting through the door, drop kicking Niko!
"My foot in your ass is what comes next!" said Lucas.
