Youxi ran out of the office with her reddening cheeks, her embarrassment evident on her face. Youxi was always regarded the most competent and capable individuals from her school and she is very angry at herself for making such an amateurish mistake, on the first day of work no less.
Being close to a dangerously handsome man like Junnan is scary. Youxi has never felt such young budding feelings of passion ever since her break up with Longwen. She held her hands against her thumping heart down trying her best to calm herself down. She decided that she will keep her distance from the boss in future to prevent a slipping of such feelings again.
Jingjing was also working in Huo Corporations but she was working for the General Manager Junsheng. Junsheng is the step brother of Junnan and they are natural born rivals, always competing for their parents affections and attentions since young. Although Junsheng is older as compared to Junnan, he could never win Junnan in terms of looks and capabilities, making him into a bitter and negative person as he always tries to sabotage Junnan via underhanded means. Junsheng feels that he should be the CEO and heir to Huo Corporation as he is the older brother.
"Jingjing, what do you want to eat for lunch today?" Youxi asked as she hooked arms with Jingjing as they walked to the shopping complex beside their office.
They have decided to eat at a casual Japanese restaurant in the shopping complex where Youxi decided to share her embarrassing coffee story with Jingjing over lunch. She definitely needed an outlet to vent her feelings out.
"Hahahaha!!" Jingjing howled with laughter as tears rolled down her cheeks from laughing too hard. Jingjing was simply too tickled by Youxi's situation with Junnan and she simply found it unbelievable that Youxi will ever be placed in such a situation as she has always been prim and proper especially during professional working situations.
"Ok, enough of talking about me. How is your new boss Jingjing?" Youxi asked with a serious look on her face.
Jingjing started to think about her new boss while contemplating on how to reply to Youxi's question. Junsheng was also very tall and handsome but she could detect that behind those smiles plastered on his face lies plenty of scheming and deceptions. Jingjing was quite terrified of Junsheng and she just wanted to keep things professional.
Junsheng stood at a distance away while looking closely at the ladies dining inside the Japanese restaurant, clearly awed by the sight of two extreme beautiful ladies eating and enjoying their lunch together. Junsheng rubbed his chin while being in deep thoughts, he has developed a keen interest in getting to know Youxi better.
"Jingjing, come to my office please." Junsheng ordered as soon as Jingjing came back to her desk after lunch. Puzzled at the sudden order, Jingjing went into the General Manager office immediately and awaited for further instructions from Junsheng.
"Secretary Jingjing, who was the lady you were having lunch today? She is such a beauty and I am keen to know more about her." Junsheng asked with a sinister smile as he stared at Jingjing with sharp lusty eyes. Jingjing felt a shudder down her spine as she was being stared down by her boss, uncomfortable at the sudden attention.
"Boss, that was my friend Youxi. She is also working for Huo Corporations as the Personal Secretary for CEO." Jingjing replied with a confused look on her face, not understanding the purpose of the question.
Junsheng sinister smiles widens as he heard about Youxi working for Junnan. He has plans to make use of Youxi's beauty in his plans to overthrow Junnan and takeover his position as the CEO of Huo Corporation.
