Getting back to work after lunch is torturous in itself but Youxi is determined to get back onto her feet and move on from the mistake she made this morning. Youxi is the valedictorian of S University and also the Goddess of S University, such mistakes will not be able to bring her down.
So Youxi was hard at work trying to learn the ropes from Secretary Yang. Even though today is only her first day of work, Secretary Yang was so impressed with Youxi's working abilities even though this is her first legit office job after graduating from University. It seems that S University has extremely high standards and is capable of grooming capable and intelligent people.
"Get Secretary Youxi to bring me a cup of coffee," Junnan ordered with a cold voice via the telecom device. Instinctively, Youxi's cheeks turned red immediately as she recalled the silly mistake she made with Junnan this morning. She will not act silly in front of Junnan again, she will only show the best version of herself to Junnan from now on.
Youxi entered the CEO's office with a steaming cup of coffee after knocking lightly. She placed the cup of coffee on his table while keeping a light smile on her face. "Boss, here is the coffee you ordered. Also, I would like to sincerely apologise for what happened this morning. I will work hard to ensure that such silly mistakes will never happen again." Youxi apologised to Junnan with a sincere look on her face.
"It's okay. I wasn't very disturbed about it that much. I will need a female partner for a gala event tonight. Do you have a compatible dress to wear for tonight?" Junnan replied while looking at Youxi with piercing black eyes.
Youxi just stared back at Junnan, shocked at being invited to a gala dinner with Junnan. She is just here to be the personal assistant for him, she didn't want to spend any more time with this man unless necessary. Being near to this dangerous man is very scary for her. And Youxi wants to stay as far away as possible.
"Boss, thank you for the invite to the gala dinner tonight. I will have to respectfully decline the invitation as I do not have anything appropriate to wear nor do I think it's appropriate for me to attend the dinner with you as your partner." Youxi answered respectfully.
"Secretary Youxi, I hope you understand that attending certain events with me is also part of your job description as my personal assistant. I will definitely need my assistant's help whenever I am networking with the CEO of other corporations. Do you think that you are attending this event as my partner??? I will just need your help to be there. Please don't think of it as being anything more than that. Get Secretary Yang to prepare a suitable dress for you tonight." Junnan replied coldly to Youxi with a look of ridicule plastered over his handsome face.
"Noted on this boss. I will get prepared for the Gala dinner tonight." Youxi said and bowed before leaving the grand office. She does not understand why she had to attend the Gala dinner with Junnan, especially on her first day of work! It makes her even more determined to keep a distance from Junnan.
Youxi then informed Secretary Yang that they have to start preparing her for the Gala Dinner tonight. Secretary Yang has an immaculate taste and managed to order a stunningly beautiful white mermaid gown for Youxi. Youxi looked superbly gorgeous in the gown and when her hair and makeup was completed, Youxi basically looked like an angel that has descended from the heavens. The dress has brought out her beauty and amplified it even more.
Secretary Yang nodded with a look of approval while looking at Youxi from head to toe, she was certain that the boss will be pleased with his dinner date for tonight. "You look very beautiful." Secretary Yang said while admiring Youxi's beauty with a look of awe on her face. Youxi blushed shyly while thanking her for her compliment.
"Secretary Yang, do you usually attend dinner galas with the boss from time to time?" Youxi asked curiously. Youxi just wanted some reassurance that this is part of their duties as the Boss's personal assistant and she let out a sigh of relief as she saw the nod from Secretary Yang.
However, the boss has never asked Secretary Yang to go on dinner dates with him before, but she is careful that Youxi does not know about this as she can sense that the boss is interested to know more about Youxi.
Youxi let out a huge sigh while calming her nerves about attending the dinner gala with her boss, deep in her heart, she knows that tonight will definitely be an interesting night for sure.
