Chapter 33 - Confusion

POV

Young boy to be named later:

I don't know why this woman was here. She smelled so different from everything else. When she reached out her hand I immediately coward and pressed my back agitated the cold wall. When she raised her voice to talk to someone I covered my ears with my shackled hands. The chains rattled loudly; she looked back at me and tried again to get me to trust her. She seems nice, but nice people can hurt you like the bad people. Never expect more out of people after all we all are just animals. Filthy filthy animals.

She slowly brought her hand closer to my face. I don't know what to do. Please don't touch me. My body began to shake uncontrollably. I snarled and bared my sharp teeth at her. She looked unfazed and I quickly moved my body to hers and bite her shoulder blade. She caressed my hair and began to hum softly rocking me back and forth.

I could feel her slender and warm hand go up to my neck. She continued to cradle my body on hers. I began to fall asleep; when was the last time I felt this safe? I don't know anymore, and before I knew it I no longer had the shackles on my body.

She picked me up and took off her jacked. She draped it over my small frame. My body continued to shiver, but it wasn't from being cold. I felt her walk up the stairs. Her body swayed from side to side moving up the stairs as gently as she could. She was still humming; I didn't realize that my teeth were still in her shoulder until now. I slowly retracted my teeth from her arm and looked up at her. She looked down at me and smiled. Her smile felt like a splash of cold water on my heart. I wrapped my arms around her neck and buried myself in her chest.

A door opened and we entered a small house. "Close your eyes, or it will hurt." She said softly. I didn't know what she meant at first. The bright light hurt my eyes. I quickly winced and shut my eyes. My grip tightened around her. "Relax everything is alright . We are going outside now. Okay?" I slowly nodded my head. She reached for the door. I heard small clicks and a loud squeal from the door.

The first thing I noticed was how bright it was outside. It..... It smells different? It doesn't reek of waste or blood, It it smells clean. I like it, but the lady smells nicer. I finally began to calm down. She took me over to a white car that had blue and red stripes. There was something that looked like a small raised bed on wheels. She gently placed me down on the bed. I began to shake again as two other people walked towards me and strapped me down. I began to pull on the restraints. "Shhhh call down, calm down. They are just taking you to go get looked at by a doctor."

She caressed my hair once more, and placed something around my wrist under the restraints closer to my hand. "If you ever need me just ask for a phone and flip this bracelet over. Dial the number and I will always answer. I promise." She continued on, "whenever you get scared you can rub this bracelet and everything will be okay." She bent down and kissed my forehead before leaving me with the two other people. They loaded me into the vehicle and drove off.

The stoped the car and unloaded me. They rolled me into a large white building. I had never been to one before. There was a bright red sign, but I didn't know what it said. They immediately took me into a large white room and began to take samples and put in IV drips. They then put me in a really comfortable bed without restraints.

I began to feel really sleepy. I started to rub the bracelet on my wrist. It felt nice and there was an obsidian stone dragon with elegant flames embossed into the dark brown leather. My eyelids drew heavy and all I could picture was that lady that looked like a beautiful angel.
