The two guys continued to please each other with words. "If you proposed to me a month ago, I would definitely say yes to you bro!" Mark teased Tim. "Although I want to serve you wholeheartedly. I wanted to be served in bed too."
"Oh, want to try man to man." Tim licked the corner of is lips looking lascivious as he said this.
Mark spat the ginger tea he just sipped. "Damn you! I am not interested with sword fighting in bed. I prefer burying mine in a hole! Unless you take me by your ass." He just made the perfect attack.
"Fuck you! Bastard! Screw someone else's hole!" Tim felt gross, this is not his preference clearly. He has been celibate for almost 7 years until he recently engaged with Lissy and had their first sex. It was his first after a long time. With his western upbringing first time is not a big deal for Tim. Its more of the feelings that goes with it. He does not mind really whether he marries someone who had sex before. He was just fortunate to have both Pam and Lissy's first.
"Btw the guy who worked with you who is now working in that Shanghai project, he just sent me another pic." Tim opened his chat app and showed the messages he got from certain X.
Mark looked at it. Prior to the incident in Hard Rock, he was discussing the same issue with Tim. There was a press conference in Shanghai. It was well published. Li Bin and Lissy were featured standing in a ceremonial shaking of hands. There was even a video posted about it circulating in social media and even professional networking site. In social media, people commented how the two looked good together. Not only are they young and successful, they are perfect match. Some even wished they are together. In professional networking site, they highlighted the success of this collaboration.
It was all good news from an outsider's view its perfect but for Tim, this created a crack in what is otherwise a relationship as clear a glass. All the videos and pictures circulating, when the angle permits, showed Lissy's right hand without the engagement ring on. There could probably be reasons for removing it however the picture he just received where Lissy is holding a goblet also clearly showed a ring finger missing the engagement ring.
'Was it lost?'
'Did she intentionally remove it?'
'Why is it always in the presence of Li Bin that the engagement ring is not worn?'
Too many questions but it doesn't really verify anything for now. This are just suspicions. If Tim had not witnessed the scenario when he visited Shanghai, he would never have doubted Lissy even 1%. However, he took her first time. He knows she is someone who valued herself. This somehow coated the doubts in his mind.
"Much as I hate being accused of something, I needed to clearly see through this." Tim began his assessment with situation giving Lissy benefit of the doubt. "There could be reasons why she decided to remove the engagement ring. I would like to understand first."
Rather than making a big issue out of the missing engagement ring on Lissy's hand, he had other plans of verifying the situation. Deep inside Tim, it does hurt a bit. Most ladies would be flaunting their engagement ring. They will be proud to announce they are already taken especially by the man they love.
"Agree with you man! Its better to confirm than to speculate. But I would prefer Jenna to wear the engagement ring all the time when I propose."
This came as a surprise to Mark. Although they are in a relationship and is intimately together, he does not have any idea that Mark is seriously considering Jenna to be his wife. "So, you are planning to take it to the next lever, aren't you?"
"Hmmm" Mark gave a gentle smile. "I realized I love her that I always want to wake up seeing her face. I feel complete with Jenna around."
Tim obviously knows this feeling. When he was dating Pam, his life had been exciting and wonderful. That feeling of fleeting happiness when you think of the person even if you are not physically with her. Its pure happiness…makes you feel complete. However, to Lissy, he felt secured and contented until these recent events. Lissy is well respected in the circle, she is reserved. It was more of them complimenting each other, like compatibility in most aspects of life and status.
"Do you trust her?" Out of no where Tim asked Mark about this. Subconsciously he may started to have trust issues with Lissy but its not enough to ruin the relationship.
"Hey, Jenna may be straightforward liberated kind of woman, but she has always been honest to me. We have been fucking each other for years. At least she never tried to force me to have formal relationship with her. I knew she had boyfriends in between but she always just had one at a time. " Mark then turned silent.
Thinking that Mark could be hurt with his question, "it's just a question, I am not trying to question Jenna's character. If you love her and she loves you, that is all that matters dude."
"To be honest, we have been together on and off. Warming each other's bed. The relationship is vague. However, I realized that I love her so much. I can't let anyone take her away from me or let someone else touch her again in the future. I told her about it. She said she could not return those words back to me until recently."
Tim was happy to hear this from Mark. Finding the one you love and that love getting reciprocated is the most wonderful feeling. In his heart he believes that Lissy loves him. It doesn't matter who loves more as long as there is genuine love.
"When she said out of nowhere that she loves me, I don't know my world suddenly stopped. I was overwhelmed with happiness. At that point I think I can fuck her for 3 days non-stop."
"Make her Mrs. Biggs then! Such a sex monster" Tim said the latter half meant. This guy seriously 3 days non-stop.
"I am, I never had the chance to propose romantically but hinted her on marriage. I wanted her to be by my side forever."
The hours passed with the two guys talking about relationship, work and plans. At this point Tim needs to be clear headed. While something felt amiss, he cannot be in this prolonged state. After facing the unknown reason that Pam left him, he became someone who cannot sit idly waiting for things to unfold. He will not assume. He will not guess. He will confirm things.
