"This is your daughter?" Mathew asked. Lizbeth nodded. "Hello, I am sure you heard me introduce myself so I won't do it again." Mathew said. "Oh, that's quite unfortunate..." Mathew mumbled.
"What is?" Lizbeth asked.
"I am sure you are quite aware, considering your daughter is still alive. She has G.O.C.R.D, also known as growth obstructing cellular regeneration disorder. I can notice by her body size and facial structure considering just a few moments ago you said I am the same age as her." Mathew said as he looked away from the camera. "Ah, right, I neglected to mention. My senses are quite good and I can hear everything up to a mile away quite clearly." Mathew finished.
"You seem oddly interested in her." Mark said.
"Hmm, how should I say... I can sense it through the camera, her soul is similar to mine. This doesn't mean much, but it does intrigue me, after all, a fifty percent match is quite rare." Mathew said. Mark and Lizbeth looked a little confused.
"Is that why you seem so familiar to me?" Elizabeth asked. Mathew nodded.
"Though there is more to it than that, I am sure that you will know one day." Mathew said. "By the way Mrs. Williams, the reason I am here is because of a soul match with one of the beings inside that tomb, they are still alive, just sleeping." Mathew said as he walked towards the exit. "One last thing, humanity has been around much longer than you think and that tomb is much older, I'd say it's around thirty, or thirty-two thousand years old." Mathew said before he left.
"Well, that was an interesting encounter..." Mark said.
"Indeed..." Lizbeth said. Elizabeth is deep in thought while Mark and Lizbeth continue conversing.
"There's something missing!" Elizabeth said with a frustrated tone. Mark looked at her confused.
"What's missing?" Mark asked.
"Something's off about that Mathew person, I just can't put my finger on it, nothing bad, but there is information missing, I can feel it..." Elizabeth said.
"Well, I am sure you'll figure it out at some point, Lizzy." Lizbeth said.
'That's what Mathew said...' Elizabeth thought to herself. The rest of the video chat continued with a normal conversation.
"Alright, it's time to get ready for ice cream!" Elizabeth said eagerly. Mark nodded and started to put on his shoes. They went out to an ice cream place and got a couple of cones. While the two of them were walking a girl with straight white hair and a small body ran out of an alley and ran into the two of them.
"Ah, sorry." The girl said emotionlessly.
"You seem, familiar." Elizabeth said. The girl noticed Elizabeth and froze for a moment.
"Crap..." The girl said as she sighed. "My name is Koyuki." The girl said with a flat tone.
"Nobody asked..." Mark said. Koyuki looked at him.
"I know." Koyuki said. Mark looked at the girls clothing.
"Quite the unusual outfit." Mark said. Koyuki is wearing a large hoodless cloak, the cloak is white and ice blue. She has a hat, with similar colors, it is fluffy and tall, kinda like that of a royal soldier in Britain, but with a larger radius.
"Yes, well today is supposed to be a vacation, but I guess I can mix work in a little." Koyuki said as she kneeled in front of Elizabeth. Koyuki placed her hand over Elizabeth's head and her palm started to glow a green color. "Ah, you're that one... Not the worst life you've lived..." Koyuki mumbled. Elizabeth showed a confused expression, though Mark couldn't hear anything. "The key to a cure is energy." Koyuki said as she disappeared.
"Where did she go?" Mark said with a confused tone. "Well, let's go get new ice cream cones." Mark said with a smile. Elizabeth nodded as her mind flooded with questions.
(The next day)
Elizabeth got ready for school, still thinking about everything that happened the day before. After breakfast, Mark drove her to school. Elizabeth took a deep breath, then walked inside to her class. Elizabeth was only ten minutes early today. Elizabeth went to her seat and waited for class to start. Once class started, the same things as the last school day happened again.
(May 17, 2011)
"What do you mean she can't change classes?!" Mark asked angrily.
"According to the contract she has to be in class three." The principal said.
"Do you know what is going on in that class? My daughter is getting things thrown at her, she stays inside during recess because she is afraid of rocks being thrown at her!" Mark said with a frustrated tone.
"Yes, well we can't do anything about that without proof, and legally we cannot set up cameras in the school without a lot of paperwork and we would spend a lot of money." The principal said.
"Well, what about the teacher, she is ignoring illness and caused my daughter to go through immense pain because she took her medication, the only reason Elizabeth is still alive is because the teacher called me and said she was 'faking'!" Mark said.
"Well, we have had issues similar to this before, but we cannot fire her due to contract, and we also are unable to change the class she is teaching..." The principal said. "I am sorry Mark, we are unable to do anything about the teacher, and your daughter cannot change classes until the school year has finished."
"By the time the school year has finished she won't have the same teacher." Mark said as his expression sank a little. "Goodbye, Mr. Ametsuchi." Mark said as he got up.
