*PREVIOUSLY* There's a girl wearing a porcelain mask, standing in their garden.

Grabbbing a glass of water, I ponder on the porcelain girl and what was her motive for showing me the paper with the creepy quote. It's not even Halloween anymore so why the fuck is she wearing that stupid mask? And why does she have the guts to scare us like that?
I still remember the exact details of the mask. It looks like a fragile glass mask but it was porcelain and it doesn't make any sense since porcelain are made of clay and based on what I know, they are not easy to break. The mask holds no holes in the eye area but it seemed like the glass-like mask was thin enough to see through it. And below the eyes, black teardrops and exaggerated red cheeks decorated the mask into a Halloween mask and with thin yet long black lips with a slight frown on the mouth completed the entire look to scare the shit out of someone. There is also a crack on the right side of the mask and by the forehead area but it looked intentional as if it was part of the design for messed up reasons.
Even I somehow like the cracking effect because it completed the look but again, what if it was the girl who cracked the glass? Maybe she's just pulling a prank on her new neighbors? I haven't seen them yet since they were not home when we arrived. But why though?
I swallow the water in my glass but there is a lump of anxiety in my throat that made me unable to drink it normally and it makes me feel sick.
"Luna, Luna, where did the girl go?" My dad enters the room and breaths out in a hurry while wiping the sweat on his forehead with the back of his hand, a look of exasperation in his face.
I gulp the remaining water inside my mouth and look outside again just to make sure that the girl is no longer there. " I don't know..."
He raises his brow from confusion. "What do you mean? She just wants to freak us out and then she just left?"
I nod. "Exactly. I mean, she just disappeared."
"What a strange girl..." He shook his head in disbelief and clicked his tongue. "Well, I'm gonna go. If the girl or someone unwanted shows up again just call for me."
Dad walks away too, not caring much about what happened since he wasn't there to witness it.
But I remain staring at the window, overthinking.
What could she possibly mean about her sudden appearance here and the writings on the paper? Just when I am having these weird thoughts, she unexpectedly appeared with the right timing of what I was thinking and my guts are telling me to be aware of everything; it tells me to...I don't know...believe in what happened and look out for more. But that's just crazy. Isn't it?
