Chapter 20 - Jimin

"Hyung, please, can I see Jungkook. He needs to know I'm here for him. He needs to know he's not alone," begged Jimin

"Ugh, how many times do I have to say this? No. You're dead, you can't just show up out of nowhere," replied Namjoon sternly.

Jimin glared at him annoyed. "You're a real asshole."

Its been two months since I was released from prison and since I got the news about Jimin hyung's suicide. But now my life's been quiet and everyday was pretty much a typical normal routine. It was a nonstop loop. I'd occasionally meet up with Tae for some coffee or lunch. But other than that I had nothing. I just missed Jimin hyung so much.

It was a normal boring Saturday, I was eating some lunch and watching some TV when my doorbell rang so I got up and answered it. I was in complete shock as to who was in front of me.

"Hyung?"

"Kookie. Hey." Jimin hugged me tightly. "May I come in?"

I silently nodded and moved to let him pass. "I-I thought you were dead." I blurted out.

"Nope. I'm alive and healthy. I'm sorry I wasn't here for you when you got home but Namjoon hyung- Ah forget it I'm just glad to finally see you." Jimin smiled.

He talked like Jimin, he looked like Jimin, he even smiled like Jimin but was it really him? Was I just dreaming? Is this real?

"What are you thinking?" Asked Jimin furrowing his brows.

"You-I" I quickly just did the first thing that came to mind and punched him really hard.

"What the hell was that for!" Exclaimed Jimin wincing at the pain.

"Hyung? Is it really you?" I was sure now.

Jimin nodded. "Yeah. God what has prison done to you? You hit so much more harder than you used to!"

I laughed. "Jimin!" My eyes lit up and I brought him into a hug. "I'm sorry I just couldn't believe it was actually you. I thought I had lost you. What's this whole thing about you committing suicide?"

"It was Namjoon hyung's idea. He thought it'd be better I went away after your arrest. I refused so he made me fake my death and I'm now part of his gang," Jimin explained. "In fact if he knew I was here right now he'd probably kill me. So I should probably go."

I nodded. "I understand, I guess we can talk later?" I asked hopeful.

"Yeah, I hope. I'll try to come back. I love you little brother and I'm glad you're finally a free man." Jimin softly smiled and left.

"Tae!" I said as soon as he answered the phone.

"Yeah?" He said.

"Jimin's alive, he was just here a few minutes ago. It was Namjoon hyung's fault. He made him fake his death," I explained annoyed.

"Sorry, I was kinda in the middle of something when you called, I'll call you back," said Taehyung hanging up.

"So?"

"He knows, he says Jimin visited him," replied Taehyung.

Namjoon sighed. "Great. I told him not to leave the house."

"Joon, why can't you just let him go? We don't need him," said Jin.

"No, he owes me. This is his punishment," said Namjoon.

"You're being ridiculous and unreasonable. I hope you know that," replied Jin as he stormed out slamming the door behind him.

Taehyung raised his brow.

"I'll deal with him later, he'll come around anyway, just go get Jimin for me," said Namjoon.

"What do you want?" Asked Jimin as he entered.

"Jimin, Jimin, Jimin," replied Namjoon shaking his head. "Why? Why can't you just follow simple rules?"

"It wasn't right. Jungkook deserved to know the truth. He was all alone he needs me!" Replied Jimin getting agitated.

"Just stop! Don't ever leave this house again without telling me, got it?" Asked Namjoon furious,

"Really? You're not my dad and I'm a grown ass man!" Exclaimed Jimin annoyed.

"You leave again, I promise you I'll make sure your so called suicide becomes a reality," said Namjoon.

"Oh, so you're gonna kill me? Real nice." Jimin gave him a sarcastic thumbs up and stormed up the stairs to his room.

"I'm not joking," Namjoon yelled after him.

Taehyung glared at Namjoon. "I swear if you so much as lay a finger on him-,"

Namjoon cut him off. "Chill, I won't."

"Hello?"

"Hey, it's me. I won't be able to come back anytime soon," said Jimin.

"It's fine. Is everything okay?"

"Yeah, don't worry about me. Talk later. Bye." He hung up.

I placed my phone on the counter. "Everything clearly isn't fine. It must be Namjoon hyung." I muttered to myself. I went over to my wet bar and poured myself a drink. Clearly Jimin hyung wasn't gonna call back later and I wasn't going to see him ever again, unless it was identifying his body in a morgue. Even thinking about that made me uneasy. I poured myself another drink and then another until I passed out on the sofa.

*knock knock knock*

I opened my eyes and blinked a few times. It was pitch black, it took me a second to adjust to the darkness.

*knock knock knock*

My head was pounding like crazy and the excessive knocking wasn't making me feel any better.

"What do you want?!" I asked annoyed as I yanked the door open.

"Well hello there," he smiled.

I turned the light on and squinted. "What the hell."
