"Wake up wake up wake up wake up wa—"
"Oh my god, alright! I'm up!"
Elise shouted, sitting up straight in her bed. Her hair was a mess, casting a horrifying shadow of Medusa on the floor.
It was just another normal day, and like every normal day, Tyler was shouting for her to wake up. Again. And again. And again.
"Ugh..."
Elise: Can I not go to school?
"WAKE UP WAKE UP WAK—"
"I'M AWAKE, STOP YELLING!"
Grabbing her school bag, she raced downstairs as soon as she caught a whiff of her favorite spicy omelette.
There stood Tyler behind the counter, wearing his baby blue apron. His grip on the pan made his muscles flex slightly, bringing a blush on Elise's cheeks. He turned around to see Elise standing there, drooling right where she stood.
He took a good look at her up and down as he put the hand on his waist. His brows creased together in a serious concentration as he moved closer to get a better look at her.
Elise blinked, confused.
Their faces were so close, Elise felt her heart skip a beat.
Then he backed away, his brows furiously creased together.
"You're ugly."
Elise: ....?!
"HUH? What did you just say to my face?"
"I just said you're ugly."
"What?"
"What, are you deaf? Do you need me to repeat what I said?"
"No need!"
Elise huffed, crossing her arms as she sat down. Tyler wore a blank face as he placed her spicy omelette in front of her. Then he turned his back to her and went to fetch his own breakfast. Elise sighed and started to dig in as she kept on eye on Tyler.
This is my boyfriend, Tyler.
And god, he is so annoying.
Don't even ask me how we got together. I say he's the one who confessed to me, but he says I'm the one that confessed to him.
Actually, that doesn't matter right now, I just want to know how we ended up together. And how we met. And everything. Especially how he makes these spicy omelettes so darn good.
"Hey! Wait for me!"
Tyler was riding on his bike, heading towards school leisurely as he was leaving behind Elise, who was currently chasing him.
"Why won't you let me ride with you?" Elise screamed.
"You ate too slow and woke up too late. We're going to be late to school." Was his only response.
"That's not my fault, it's yours!"
"You're the one that woke up late."
"Like I said, it's your fault."
"How the heck is it my fault? Just ride the bus. It's not the end of the world if you do."
"You know how much I hate riding the bus!"
Elise: And now here I am riding the bus. I can't believe this.
Elise was standing out of courtesy to let the elderly sit. She was holding onto the pole, desperately trying not to bump into other people. She hated riding the bus, what if someone who wanted to feel up on her?
Tyler: You're ugly.
Not that I'm pretty anyway.
I can't believe his voice came to my mind.
Great, now I'm really annoyed.
The bus rocked violently, causing Elise to crash into a handsome man that stood behind her. She blushed, knowing that she crashed into a really hard, but well built body.
Turning around, she met a pair of beautiful deep ocean blue eyes staring back at her.
