"Haa...Haaa... Geez...it's soooo hot..." I groaned.
"Haaa...Haaa...but...this is an adventure," Xylvia said. "We can't...haaa...give up..."
Xylvia and I ventured out in the deep southern parts of the map to see if we could find any new land, and we eventually found this fiery rock formation. The rocks were pitch black and the were long and jagged. The patch they formed were narrow and hovering above a huge pool of molten lava.
"...Why...haaa...does this exist...?" I questioned.
"...Maybe...haa...haaa...the gos were...haa...trying to be assholes..." Xylvia said.
"I wouldn't...haa...doubt it..."
After about twenty minutes of walking, followed by being chased by molten rock skeletons with fire balls and man-like beasts of flames, we managed to find the treasure and dash out of the oven.
"Haaa...I'm...haaa...going to collapse now..." I said, staying true to my statement.
"You're...my pillow...now..." Xylvia said as she rested her head on my stomach.
We were both completely heated and drenched with sweat and a few burns. What we managed to get was a red fruit that was said to be used to grant anyone fire magic when eaten.
But I decided to wait until I got home since I didn't want to risk eating it in case it was extremely spicy.
"How long are we going to be here for?" Xylvia asked, half asleep.
"Let's just wait until the sun rises." I said.
"That's fine with me."
As the hours passed, I couldn't help but watch Xylvia sleeping soundly. My mind may have been screaming at me to stop, but my eyes were too drawn to her cute and petite body that I ended up blocking my thoughts out. It was so unbelievable to think that Xylvia, someone who's so alert and quick, could look so cute and defenceless like this.
"Please...forgive me..." I softly whispered as I gave her a soft kiss on the cheek.
"I wonder what it would be like...if we were lovers..."
When I woke up from the past, I noticed that Xylvia was hugging me tightly with a huge smile on her face.
"What's so funny?" I asked.
"It's nothing," she said with a smug face. "I just never knew that you thought about the past like that."
"I just have dreams about it. They're always so relaxing."
"I agree."
After a few talks about the past and a minute long lover's kiss, we suddenly heard a lot of banging in the living room. We both got up and ran to see what was going on and-
"Hey big sis," the little boy shouted. "Where does this egg go again!"
"It goes in this pot right here," Dusk said. "But make sure to crack it open first!"
"Dusk, where's the spoon?!" an older man asked.
"I already told you that it's in the drawer big brother!" Dusk said.
"What about the forks?" an older girl asked.
"Also in the drawer big sister!"
"Everyone, please try and lower your voices please." an older woman said.
"And be sure not to knock anything over!" an older man warned them.
"Ok!" everyone said.
"It looks like they're a lively bunch." Xylvia said.
"That's...an understatement." I pointed out.
Dusk and the others spotted us standing in the doorway.
"Oh, good morning Hiro, Xylvia," she said. "Did you sleep well?"
"We did, thank you," I said. "So...what's going on here?"
"We wanted to thank you for letting us stay here," Dusk's older brother said. "So we decided to help make breakfast. Oh, my name's Pitch by the way."
"My name's Ash," Dusk's little brother said. "Like ashes left from a fire. I can breathe fire too!"
Ash took in a deep breath and the a fire shot out of his mouth and danced around until it evaporated.
"Wow, that's really cool!" Xylvia said, clapping her hands.
"Yeah, nice job." I said, patting his head.
Ash laughed playfully.
"Thanks big brother Hiro, big sister Xylvia.
"Hehe...wow. I'm quite honored to know that you think of me as a big brother. How do you feel Xyl..."
I turned to face Xylvia, but she suddenly collapsed back first onto the ground and a bunch of steam was flowing out from her head.
"Hye cyalled mwe a bwig syister Hyiro..." she said.
"YOU SOUNDED JUST LIKE A CAT?!?!"
They way she spoke was extremely cute, but it was a little too out of character for me to process.
"Good morning," Dusk's big sister said. "My name is Flicker. I'm kind of in charge of my younger siblings, so please be sure to tell me if they act up."
"Uh...yeah, sure." I said.
"FLICKERRRRR," Dusk groaned in embarrassment. "Don't say things like that! It's embarrassing!"
"As you can see from Dusk's blushing face, she absolutely loves to be teased. Feel free to mess with her to your heart's content."
"FLICKERRRRR!!!"
"Hello, I'm the mother of this family," the older woman said. "My name is Light. It's a pleasure to meet you."
"Oh no, if anything it's a pleasure to meet you!" I quickly said.
"No need to be afraid of our royal status," the older man said. "You can address us as if we're a part of your family. And the name's Grant by the way."
Twenty Hours Earlier
"Welcome to the team."
That's what I said when I welcomed her to join us on our goal of ending this thousand year war.
"You shouldn't go out in public," Lin, one of the doctors, said. "They might think that you're one of the dragonmen that attacked the Town of Colors."
"We can watch over them." Xylvia said.
Dusk was taken aback by the sudden request.
"A-Are you sure Xylvai?" I asked.
"If they can't go out in public, then they might as well stay in a hoise instead of a hospital. No offense."
"None taken," Hestalia said. "You're right though. People tend to feel confined when they can't leave a building, and a hospital is the worst one to be in."
"Then it's settled. We'll take Dusk and her family to live with us for a while."
After that, we waited until they woke up and brought them to our home. We didn't have any time for introductions since we had to get them here quickly due to the hate that the dragonmen are getting right now.
But now that there wasn't anything to worry about, we we're finally getting introduced to the family. The Fangs.
"It's nice to meet you all," I said. My name is Hiro Satomi."
"And my name is Xylvia Almaia," Xylvia said. "It's nice to meet you."
BANG!
Right after we properly introduced ourselves, a girl came crashing through the front door. It was someone that I knew.
"Leonna," I said, extremely surprised. "What are you doing here?!"
"Haa...Haaa...you...you need...to get to the town...quickly..." she said, clearly out of breath.
"What's going on?" Xylvia asked.
"They said that they found the traitor! There going to execute him!"
"...!"
