I was finally able to figure out how many days it's been since I've been here. Five. Five days. My ears have heard nothing but screams of agony, even if there was nobody there. I started to wonder if I should even try and escape this place. Even if I made it out alive, I wouldn't get very far. The light outside would blind me because of how long I've been in this darkness. I still wanted to escape these chains and jump into Hiro's arms, I just knew that it was near impossible to do so. These chains proved my point.
"You sane?"
I looked up to see Him again. It was easy to predict what He was about to do. Ask me if I was sane or not. Run his hands up my legs and stop midway. Threaten me, then leave.
"The boss doesn't like to be kept waiting you know." He said.
"Who? You're prostitute?" I said.
"It's been five days, yet you can still act like a little bitch. You have my respect."
"You can take your respect and shove it up your ass. Although, it might not fit in there since your prostitute probably already put something in there."
A knife whizzed past my face and hit the wall behind me. I could feel a small cut form on my face.
"You're little friend out there is doing everything he can in order to save your pathetic being," He said. "He also has a power that she wants."
My friend? Wait. How does he know...?
"LEAVE HIRO ALONE," I shouted at him. "HE'S DONE NOTHING TO YOU!!"
"That's not true. He did kill one of my comrades. You probably didn't see that because you were knocked out."
Hiro...killed someone?
"What power," I asked. "Hiro can't possibly have the power to kill someone. He's just an adventurer like me!"
"He may be an adventurer, but he does possess the Devil's Blade."
"The Devil's Blade?"
"You know, the blade that Hiro pulled from underneath the chest."
Hiro did pull a sword from underneath a chest, but the message said that sword was meant for the hero.
"You're wrong," I told him. "That sword was meant for the hero. "It can't possibly be the De-!"
"Did you ever stop to think about who left that message?" He asked interrupting me.
Who...left the message?
"I don't know much about the details either, but all I know is that Hiro is now that sword's wielder. Well, according to what the boss said at least."
The doors suddenly opened. A hooded figure started walking towards us.
"It's about time you arrived." He said.
"Have her powers emerged yet?" the hooded figure asked.
A girl?
"Nope. Emerging her powers psychologically didn't work."
"Well, I guess will try using my method then."
"Alright fine! You win."
"You can use force if you want," I said to them. "I'm still not going to give you what you want."
The hooded figure looked over at me. She then walked over to me and placed both of her hands on my cheeks. They felt surprisingly warm, and oddly familiar.
"If we used force, then that would mean hurting your body," she said. "We can't have you getting hurt like that."
"You say that you won't hurt my body, so I'm guessing that you're still going to attack me on the inside right?"
"Well, not really. In fact, we won't be attacking you at all."
I was extremely confused. If they weren't going to attack me, then how do they plan on getting whatever it is they want from me?
"Just you wait." the hooded figure said.
She, as well as Him, then started to leave the room.
"Oh, and don't worry about your friend," she said before she left. "He won't be in any danger whatsoever."
And with that, the doors were once again closed off. Once again, I was left all alone in the darkness...
