Ken contemplated whether it was necessary to use the ability, Heart Tree. It has its own advantage and disadvantage, and the pseudo immortality was really enticing and very beneficial, but knowning that by destroying the Heart Tree would result in his death really put a pause on his thoughts.

So, seeing ken taking the initiative to explore his ability on his own brought him some satisfaction.

After the world tree caught up to ken and started slapping him without regards to anything , it said. "What the hell were you doing?! I thought you were exploring your ability?!"
"I am exploring my ability." Ken said matter of factly.
"Then what was that! You punk!" the world tree said, feeling perplexed.
He hesitated for a bit before saying. "I often see the main character of - wait! wait! ahh stop! stop!" ken wailed loudly while the world tree run after him.
After a while of trashing. "You better do it seriously this time or else..." The world tree gave off a threatening aura while trailing off its word.
Ken rubbed his bruised arms and face, this time he took the world trees word at face value, afraid he be beaten again.
He closed his eyes and started to focus his senses trying to feel his ability and steering it to turn off. He sensed all the plant life within a hundred meter radius, be it a blade of grass, trees or flowers, he felt like he had control over them. When he felt that he grasp an invisible button he opened his eyes and said with a grin in his lips. "Got it."
The world tree looked at him suspiciously,"you're not joking this time right? if you are..." the world tree said while flashing its roots.
Ken shivered at the sight of the world trees roots. "Yes, I got it this time, I just felt like I suddenly had access to a button, as long as I detected the plant in advance and set it as my target I could immediately Possess them and share their senses."
