Chapter 11 - Forest Massacre

The Assassin had his eye on Syrth, a surprised expression on his face. He didn't expect this brat to get a cold head and would make a judgment in this kind of situation.

The banks of the Rio das Pinhas were large and vast. Syrth knew he could not avoid the persecution of the Walking Union syndicates if he were on the beach he went towards the forest, it wasn't that he didn't want to face the Assassin he could easily kill him if he wanted but he didn't know if he could kill those others who were with the killer.

"Was it a stroke of luck?" - The Killer muttered but was not anxious. He quickly signaled his arriving comrades and quickly began the chase.

He didn't believe they wouldn't be able to handle a brat who wasn't even a fighter. Especially the wooded woods were not extremely complex, so that brat couldn't escape.

As Syrth entered the woods, quickly taking advantage of the darkness moving behind a tall, lush tree.

These guys are complete amateurs they are not even trying to sneak around. It seems that they are quite confident. Syrth thought.

Syrth leaned against the tree behind him, paying close attention to the approaching assassin holding his dagger. He was propped against the tree because he had the advantage.

After seeing the other members of the Floors Syndicate, Syrth was shocked and doubtful, but he would never lose his temper.

What to kill me? So don't blame me. Syrth took his dagger quietly from his belt, showing a hint of murderous intent. Since they wanted to take care of their lives, they should be ready to die too. He wanted to know the truth behind this attack. No person who has entered this forest will escape alive.

Just thinking about it already made Syrth's blood boil, this would be the first time he'd kill a human in this new world, not that he cared much about it.

The woods were not very big, so Syrth didn't have much space available to use, when he eliminated this Assassin first he could eliminate the others in several possible ways.

Syrth leaned against the hiding tree. The Assassin was quickly approaching him, not even suspecting that his death was near. Syrth held his curved dagger and held his breath.

As soon as he passed Syrth, a shout can be heard from the woods entrance.

- John! Where did you get in? And where is that brat that ran?

Jon turned impatiently and shouted near the entrance.

"Hey, you piece of shit, I'm here!" This brat must still be around, he won't leave here.

Syrth waited until the conversation was over and then crept after him like a ghost, placing his left hand over the Assassin's mouth and with his curved dagger in his right hand pierced the Assassin's throat.

In an instant, blood splattered everywhere as Syrth ripped the Assassin's head from his neck.

Ignoring the battle reports, Syrth dropped the headless rogue's body to the ground and placed his head tucked into a branch, his face showing an expression of disbelief and dread before he died.

This Assassin was a bad example for all Assassins. He probably downplayed his target thinking he was powerless and did not expect the target to suddenly turn into an experienced assassin.

Syrth searched his body and found a bag and some trappings.

Ah… poor soul… "The Assassin had only five silver coins in his purse.

Syrth looked up at the sky and saw that there was a dark clouds blocking all moonlight making it difficult to enlighten tonight would be a night of massacre.

There were three bandits to the left, holding rocks as they plunged into the woods. In the firelight, the originally black trees suddenly brightened.

"Damn, that damn John, he let that brat slip into the woods." - A thug cursed the corpse in a harsh voice - And now he's ignoring us, what does this bastard think he's doing?

"Maybe the brat is still running and John is still after him."

"But he didn't leave many clues behind, so trying to find clues like this tonight would be a huge waste of time." We have to make sure that the boss's order is executed successfully.

Three people: two tall men and one body. The three were arguing with each other and then made the decision to split up. Syrth was pleased that it seemed they were quite confident of his strength. These Ze alleys were clearly not trained for this, or else they would not be leaving so many blind spots in their search.

Just as he did with the Assassin he performed the same move.

He quickly looted the bandit's body and found twelve pieces of silver in his bag. He follows the same pattern and went after the second bandit and repeats the same skills.

He immediately went after the last bandit, slowly approached him and took his sword. The thug heard the sound of a sword drawing, but as soon as he turned his head to see, his field of vision began to fall he found it strange and looked down and saw that his two legs were separated from his body. He wanted to scream but immediately a blade cut his throat but he was still alive only his voice no longer existed, he looked to the side and saw a young man with red hair and blue eyes staring at him with a bloody blade in his hand. On the right, he immediately knew he was responsible for this and slowly began to beg all the gods he knew so that he could survive by swearing that he would never comment on any evil act again.

"You really think that begging the gods and swearing you'll never do any evil deed again will give you a chance to survive." - Syrth said his words with disgust what he hates most in his life are hypocrites who use the faith of the weak for their own benefit and those who only remember the gods when they are about to die. He quickly cut off the bandit's arms as he watched him agonize in pain and then finished him by opening his chest and piercing him with the sword.

He looted his body and finding more than thirty pieces of silver in a bag for all other resources were useless to him.

He arrived and saw that he acquired seventy experience points and acquired sixty pieces of silver. He returned to the beach and retrieved the body of the dead young man and put him in his ring, and headed toward the entrance on the opposite side of Pine Cone City.
