Chereads / Siv’ler / Chapter 2 - Gone

Chapter 2 - Gone

Serena, a regular sized girl with long red hair and bright blue eyes, was walking along in the savannah while cultivating the Earth Element. Beside her was a small wolf, with fur black as night and eyes of shining silver. The wolf's name was Siv'ler, named after his eyes.

"How are you doing?" asked Serena as Siv'ler had been having a hard time getting the hang of the Earth Element. Siv'ler shook his head no and they continued walking along.

All of sudden, when the sun was at it's peek, a light, brighter than the sun, enveloped Serena and Siv'ler. The light only lasted for half a minute, but it could be seen for hundreds of miles. The funny thing though, was that no one remembered seeing it after it disappeared, it was as though nothing happened.

Serena opened her eyes to see a rolling sea down below her and the shining sun above her head. Looking to her left and right she saw the coastline continue on until her eyes couldn't see it anymore. Turning around she saw grassy plains open up and a small village in the distance. Feeling the Elements with her cultivation of Soldier Realm, Fifth Dawn she realized that the Elements felt very, very weak. It was like there was no point for them to stay in this world. At this moment however, Serena noticed something even more distressing! Siv'ler wasn't there!

"Siv'ler! Siv'ler!" she called and called but there was no reply. She was alone, alone in an unfamiliar place without Siv'ler. Alone. She fell to the ground and curled up in a ball, sobbing, for Siv'ler had been by her side every day while she was growing up. She had no parents or family that she knew of. She was raised by Siv'ler and they had become family. Now that he was gone she had no idea what to do. She lay there on the grass for a while and soon cried herself to sleep.

"Listen carefully little one, for I will only tell you once. You are our only hope, Ollotia's only hope. You must find a way to restore the Laws and Elements before order collapses." a deep voice said, lulling her into a deep sleep.
