"It looks like it is time for us to relocate our village. If it is not too much to ask, could you help escort us while we relocate?" The hobgoblin asks. "Of course if you don't want to that would be fine too, as you have already done so much for our tribe already."
"It's no problem at all. In any case I happened to have some more questions for you as well concerning the port city anyways. We can talk as I escort your group." Joshua responds positively.
Joshua doesn't know how long it will take to escort the goblins.
If it doesn't take too long he can make it back in time carry out his plans with the wolves, but if not he might have to delay it for another day.
Joshua wasn't in any rush so he didn't ponder into it too deeply.
The goblins had quickly packed up what little belongings they had and were ready to move.
"Alright let's go!" The hobgoblin commands and the migration begins.
When they started moving some of the goblins even mustered the courage to timidly come up to Joshua to thank him for the help earlier and for escorting them.
Josh just smiles and says that it wasn't a big deal.
Now that they were on the move Joshua moves up to the hobgoblin to get answers on the port cities.
Of course Josh wasn't neglecting his job as an escort, as whenever he hears or notices something he would stop his questioning and scan his surroundings.
While on this trip they avoided any direct confrontation as there were goblins in the group that would get caught up in any fight that might happen.
Joshua didn't mind as this way he could get answers to his questions unhindered.
He learned that there were countless port cities that surrounded the continent and everyone of them connected to the highlands.
Joshua wanted to get more information on the highlands, but the goblins did not know much.
They said that their ancestor came from a subsidiary city of the port city, not the port city itself. If Josh wanted answers he would have to go to the port cities themselves.
Joshua learned that this particular port city was called Chaos Convene because in the city and its subsidiary cities the creatures that followed both the class and beast system convened.
This included other races such as humans, elves, ect... that followed the class system and intelligent beasts that followed the beast system.
Of course as stated by the hobgoblin earlier, his ancestor had been discriminated against in the subsidiary city.
Even though creatures of both systems convened there it did not mean it was harmonious.
In fact it is quite chaotic, those with the class system did not get along with those from the beast system, hence the name Chaos Convene.
There were also the rare few that got along with anyone regardless of what system you followed, but those were rare and few in between.
Joshua also asked for the directions to the subsidiary city for future reference and was told to follow up any river and the city should be a months distance according to the orc when he was still alive.
It turns out that practically all the rivers in the forest was connected upstream to a dam built by the subsidiary city.
"Here should be fine, as we have covered a considerable distance. The other tribes won't be able to find us in the short term." The hobgoblin claimed. "There is also a small lake somewhere around here if I recall correctly, which would be perfect as a water source and alternate source of food."
Having decided so the goblins settle down and start setting up new sack to settle in for the night.
It was only then that Joshua noticed it already had gotten dark. He was so immersed in the port city, as it was vital in his path to godhood, that he overlooked the time.
'Well it looks like I will have to postpone my plans for the wolves once again.'
It was then that Joshua heard the hobgoblin ask. "It has gotten dark would you like to stay the night at our village?"
"I'll take you up on that offer thanks"
"That's great" the hobgoblin had one of the goblins create a tent for Joshua and a pile of leaves for him to sleep on.
Joshua went straight to bed and the night passed uneventfully.
...
It was now morning and Joshua had woken up at the sounds of a few goblins cheering.
"What's going on?" Joshua curiously asked.
"Ah! I apologize, it seems that we were a bit exited that a few of our members were able to successfully rank up after that fight with the Pigmen.
A total of four goblins had ranked up, three ranking up to 2 star and the last ranking up to 3 star.
This added another two tier 1 high goblins, another tier 2 hobgoblin, and a rare tier 2 lesser nymph. Bolstering the village's total tier 2 count to three making it so that they could now somewhat protect themselves from the other tribes.
The shocking fact was the the the new hobgoblin was the goblin that ranked up onto 3 star while the rare nymph was one of the three that ranked up into two star.
Becoming a tier 2 species as a 2 star life form shows how much potential the creature had so the village was happily celebrating.
The lesser nymph looked a lot fairer and a bit like a fairy, but only her skin was still a light shade of green.
It turns out that this particular goblin was one of the few that had an inherit skill. Her skill was related to the wind element and she had proven herself in multiple battles not just counting the one with the Pigmen allowing for her to gain enough achievements to rank up into a tier 2 lesser nymph.
