'My name is Joshua, sometimes called Josh by close friends. Anyways I seem to have unfortunately died at the ripe age of 23 when I was running in the rain as I needed to get to the bus or I'll be late for work, but suddenly it stated raining heavily out of nowhere.
'What was really tragic was how I died...I didn't even know dying like that was even possible...'
'Mid-run I got cramps in my legs and fell face first into a somewhat large puddle.'
'When I tried to push myself up I then proceeded to get heavy cramps on both my arms.'
'Finally, I drowned in the damn middle sized puddle...'
'It wasn't even that big a puddle...'
'Now I am surrounded by darkness having lost all my senses for god knows how long. I counted at first, but gave up at 500,000 and just decided to let my thoughts drift.'
As if to reward his long wait, something begins to happen just when he was about to lose more of his sanity than just talking to himself.
It started with his sense of touch in which he began to regain first, then he could hear soft yips(?) by some kind of creature. He could also feel the ground and what he supposed was grass beneath him.
He could hear and feel the wind blowing against him; something felt off, but he just couldn't quite put his finger on it.
He slowly began to open his eyes to see a beautiful vast field surrounded by a forest and what seems to be a rural village in the distance. Now that his mind had began to regain its clarity he began to check his surroundings.
'Wait. Why is the grass so tall? It's practically half my height.'
'No. It seems I am just small, did I become a baby again?'
It was then that Josh noticed the abundant creatures moving about around him.
They looked to about a large dogs size with some smaller ones which Josh assumed to be babies. They were furry like little bear cubs, but some scales could be seen in between some patches of fur.
That's when it hit Joshua. The odd feelings he had had earlier that he could not explain.
'Could it be that I have become one of these weird things by some kind of weird sick twist of fate?!'
Joshua then anxiously and and slowly looks down, only to see a petite pair of furry and scaled paws.
Joshua frantically looked around and noticed a river behind him coming from the forest and trailed down near the buildings in the distance.
He fumbled his way to the river and saw his reflection in the flowing water. It was cute, but that was it. It wasn't human and definitely not the face he was used to seeing in the mirror.
He fainted right then and there by the cruel blow of reality being too hard for his fragile mind to handle...
After waking up after about 10 minutes Joshua sat there for another 10 minutes to let reality sink in and finally accepted his cruel fate.
After accepting the reality that he was in some kind of different world (there is no such creature on earth) and reincarnated into a damn scaled beardog, he noticed something at the back of his mind.
When he focused his awareness on it words seem to have appeared in his head.

"Yip?!"
'So that's the sound I heard earlier. Wait that's not important what the hell is all of this?! Could these creatures be called Yaban?'
'What the hell kind of name is that?'
'Also what is a 1-star life form and tiers? Finally, what is with this game-like interface with levels and skills? Could it be?! I have the legendary SYSTEM?!'
"Yip!Yip!Yip!"
'System! Goddess! Ghost Grandpa in a ring! Anybody there?! Please respond!'
No response...
FML...
'Fine! I'm on my own. I'll just skip over the star and tier part as there is no use wasting my brain space thinking about what it is now.'
'I'll focus instead on my skills as I can't really figure out how the level system works right now.'
'Language Understanding is supposedly my inherit skill, maybe from my reincarnation or something else who knows. I'll test how it works for now I guess.'
Josh then decided to sit down and listen to the surrounding Yaban's obnoxious yips to try to understand what they were saying. After listening in for only 2 minutes Josh could take no more and came to a sad conclusion.
'These things are dumb as hell...'
*cries internally*
