"I'm afraid my services are hardly needed. Miss Lys is very talented and seems to have re-mastered the Nibilian language." The tutor informed Mrs. Ng. "We finished the latter half of the class with the translator chip off, and by then, Miss Lys had no trouble reading and writing fluently."
"Oh is that so?" She turned back to Lys, the very image of a proud mom.
"My baby is soooo smart! Come! Tell me what you want as a reward?"

"Alright, we'll go out and let you choose a set tomorrow. Aunt Meng let the master and young masters know.
"Oh yes," she turned back to the tutor. "Thank you for your time today. Do you think she would require another session, or has she learned enough?"
"I do not feel that it would be much more effective for me to continue teaching. Most of what I would teach her would be covered in the upcoming school syllabus."
"Alright then, here is the fee for the teaching." Mother Ng transferred a sum to his account and dismissed him. She added extra as a thank you for helping her darling girl learn the language so quickly!
The tutor took his leave. Teaching this kid was easy money; he had barely taught anything and she had mastered all he could teach, the pay was also very generous.
But he had noticed the surveillance cameras in the room and knew that this was a student with a sensitive background. He had been vetted several times upon being recommended for the position and was even subjected to a full-body scan to prevent him from bringing unauthorised materials into the house.
It was really too much effort to go through this just to earn another tutoring session of credits. Also, the amount that Mrs. Ng had just paid him was more than the total agreed-upon sum.
Not to mention, this kid made him feel stupid.
Mummy Ng happily bragged to everyone at the dinner table that night.
Lys had finished her language lesson in a day!
She was the smartest girl ever!
The tutor who was from the Royal Institute of Learning had nothing else to teach her!

"… Mom, I'm supposed to have learned this before, how hard would it be to learn it again even if have forgotten everything?"
'It should have been a combination of my polyglot language skills in addition to the muscle memory of this body that allowed for the fast retainment and processing of the information,' Lys added silently in her head.
"Oh yes, I'll be bringing her out tomorrow to get her a present for being such a good sport and learning our language so fast."
"Just remember to take some of the bodyguards along, and maybe one of the boys." Daddy Ng reminded. He did not want anything to happen to his wife and child, it would be better with more protection.
"Dad, I'm not free tomorrow. Lance wants me in for more briefings… But Mom, you should get the brat more pastries from Berry Patisserie. The berry flavoured ones are nice" Max could not resist his sweets addiction.
"Ditto. New tech launch, need to inspect." Mat was always one for lesser words.
"Take more guards then, Grace?"
"Mmmkay." Mother Ng didn't want too many people around but knew that their positions were sensitive and required more protection. Especially Lys.

He lightly grazed his fingers over the picture on the screen.
"You'll be going out tomorrow?"
"Maybe I'll arrange something for you."
The man stood and swiftly left the room.

The next day, she brought Lys, as well as a team of bodyguards, out to the boutiques.
They spent some time browsing through the latest comms brands before settling on a limited-edition colour changing model. Lys had become fascinated with the mascot, a cute purple British Shorthair, of that brand and was requesting one for a pet.
She didn't want another pet in the house after the last one turned out to be a monster (her daughter had a weird fascination with furry creatures). That Lembair, even though it was subdued quickly, was still a stain in their family's otherwise perfect history in the compound.
After purchasing the comms, Mother Ng then brought Lys shopping through the boutiques. Clothes shopping could be done easily online at home. However, Mother Ng missed the feeling of being out and about with her daughter and decided to bring her about to spend some mother-daughter time together.
The wandering duo soon caught the attention of many shopping in the mall, and the news was somehow leaked out. The Entertainment Journalist found out about the appearance of both from social media posts and started gathering at the boutique mall, trying to catch sight of the two beautiful ladies shopping. Getting a photo or interview could help skyrocket their publishers (and paychecks) to the top!
Even if they suffered the wrath of the Nobles later, at least their pockets would be full!
Grace Ng(Mother Ng) was rather famous in the industry and was known for being low key. She only had one daughter who was said to be in a coma for the past 30 years. There were no reports of her being discharged. People were wondering who was it that was following her!
Was it her newly selected daughter in law? If so, for which son? Both twins were highly regarded and many people wished to marry either of them.
Was she the selected one to counter Max's wildness or was she the one to melt Mat's ice-cold facade?
If it wasn't, was it her daughter? They wanted to know what had happened as it was never disclosed. The fact that the Princess of the Ng Family had fallen into a coma after a visit to the mall had worried many. Just what would have injured a highly protected kid to that extent and how did that happen? How she was coping after waking up?
Everyone wanted to know!! Even if this might annoy the Media Queen and the rest of the Ngs, it was news that the rest of the empire wanted!
